On topic, it depends what you're after. If you are talking about performance to transfer fee+salary ratio, I'd say Asamoah, Mandžukić, Michu and Vertonghen.

RVP was NOT one of the best buys, if you think about it logically

Exorbitant fee paid for a player not too dissimilar to Roonay, while the midfield languishes in poverty

Like i said above, Michu's been a better buy for Swansea than Rapin van Persie has for United

Cazorla. A player that Arsenal desperately needed in the market... Last season they didn't have that player who could fill into Fabregas's shoes though finally they do in him. Passing and build up is sensational :bow:
Hazard has ben a good buy for Chelsea as well and introducing Oscar as well, you can see that Chelsea are thinking attacking wise not parking the bus all the time...
