He was born in Spain and will likely be brought up in Spain so like it or not he's Spanish lol.

But his father is argentine.
But like you said he will be brought up in spain with that annoying lisp.

And in the future his son (if he plays) will face huge criticism from both countries regarding nationality.

Both his parents are Argentine and it's likely that Messi would move back home after his footballing career. Still, he will have to choose between the two. The Argentine embassy should hurry up and send him a passport already

Also, Thiago is not a Spanish name, it's Portuguese. I also fail to see how a Spanish name would not be an Argentine name (unless it's a name in Catalan, Basque, etc) ?

And with that money i dont believe Thiago Messi will be hard worker
