just imagine you're a professionnal footballer,
you're offered 2 contracts: the club you've always loved offers you 10k/week, and their biggest rival offers you 200k/week.
(exemple LFC & MU, Barca & Real, Newcastle & Sunderland, Roma & Lazio.......)

NJ, let me put it this way if Newcastle offered me 10 pound a week and Sunderland offered me 900 k a week i would choose Newcastle.

Might want to change those numbers a bit, because even the most loyal player would jump ship for a 190k pay rise

i would go for the club in which i have more chances of winning titles and being in he starting 11,love and money wouldnt be that important.
I dont feel "love" for clubs anyway,i just cheer for them,nothing obsessive

What i don't understand is players who f*ck off when a paltry 20k more is added to their new wages. As if 100k a week isn't enough, you need that extra 20k more for what exactly?

Realistically, if one club offers you 200k, you're big talent.
For the sake of the argument, I'd choose the club I'd love. If you are a good player, you will get rises anyways. No one goes 10k nowadays.
What the hell am I supposed to do with 200k weekly anyways? I don't understand those money hungry people. 10k a week is still half a million a year. Not counting bonuses.

Yes you are right if it was 100k and another team offer 150 then yes I would stay with the club I like and win with.

Realistically, the 200k a week would always win for me. I'm not in it for the money but I still need to milk this talent I have to its fullest. So yeah, the 200k I'll be choosing...

No it would'nt as Money simply does'nt interest me, aslong as i have enough to buy clothes i like and the necessities such as food, drink, pay bills etc etc i dont care and with my current job i can do all that.....
Flashy car's and mansion's are nice and all but it's not enough to convince me to be a traitor.

If I was Nasri for example I'd take Arsenal's 90k over City's 200k in a heartbeat...He's already rich,playing for the club & the man that made him.I would honor that...

I'd move to Spurs, but i'd play shit intentionally and cost them games. By the time they realize i'm a saboteur, i'd have played enough games to rack up at least 3 million quid of their money and have gotten them kicked out of most majour competitions

i would never join sporting, i would puke if i wore their shirt. Sorry but thats how much i hate them. Besides there is no way in the world sporting would willing to give higher wages then benfica. In terms of other clubs i would tske less money then join barca and in england i proably would take the money

Honestly it depends on the level of passion for me.
If its football i would take 200k and play for United/Everton any day of the week.
If its cricket no chance though.Money wouldnt really influence in that scenario.
