No. I saw the interview. He said it was an accident, he didnt mean to hit RVP.

He could be lying, but he didnt admit to anything worthy of a ban. If it was an accident then he doesnt deserve anything.

He said in post match interview "I went to clear the ball in frustration" yes maybe him hitting van persie was accidental, but he knew the play was not still going on.

Let us say he didnt actually mean to hit RVP.

Your saying, because he kicked the ball (in frustration at the foul being called) he should be banned because it happened to hit RVP? Lets say he kicked it, RVP stumbled a little bit earlier and the ball went harmlessly up the pitch. He should still be banned because he kicked the ball away?

Maybe they shouldnt fight in his weight class then? Laughing

Who would you like him to fight?

He smashes Cotto next he wont get no credit because Cotto is "done", he beats Bundrage then he is too old, he already beat Cintron, does anyone rate Angulo, Molina or Kirkland? Trout only just became relevent.

Trout vs Canelo would make Canelo more money than any of those names bar Cotto

Hell prob face Cotto or Angulo. And yeah I use to rate Angulo before he got put in the detetion center. Canelo vs Angulo will be a good fight but Angulo doesnt look the same anymore.

there is no justifying why he kicks the ball after the whistle, it is unnecessary and resulted in a dangerous incident. accidental or not the actions which let to the accident of the ball contacting Van persies head are not necessary, he needs to control his emotion that is his responsibility.

You're 100% right. He got a yellow card so he was punished. What more do you want?

You want a ban? That's a little over the top don't you think? As for him being seriously hurt from it, come one dude man up. I've seen guys get hit with hockey pucks in similar situations and not get banned and those guys even kept on playing. I mean RVP jumped right up afterwards.

lol I played hockey for 18 years most of it at a high level, getting hit by a puck is normal in the sport, plus you wear borderline Armour...terrible comparison. Plus the fact that this was not during the run of play and was a incident after the whistle.

How good is Michu?? - Page 2 Empty Re: How good is Michu??

Getting hit in the back of the head from that distance can be dangerous, but the chances of serious damage being done is slim. Players regularly get hit in the face by a ball that's been hit harder, yet seemingly always get up and continue playing. The worst they get is concussion; granted, it's a serious injury but it usually clears up within a few days.

Van Persie got up right away and was completely fine; fine enough to retaliate and get in Williams' face. Williams got a yellow for kicking the ball away. There's no need for retrospective punishment here (which can't be given anyway since the ref already punished the player). Imagine the sort of precedent you'd set if you actually banned Williams for this. It would mean that for every instance that a player accidentally kicks the ball into another player's face or head, they should be banned. You may as well make it so the ball can't go higher than knee height with a precedent like that.

Back on topic, I've been very impressed by Michu so far. He's reminding me a lot of Dempsey last season. It'll be interesting to see if Michu can carry on this sort of form for the rest of the season.

Getting hit in the chest is actually more dangerous and potentially fatal

Honestly, this is just blowing an incident needlessly out of proportion

as funny as this meme is, I wonder if SAF is right somwhat. Getting blasted by a football from point blank, if it got you in the neck whilst you are unprepared an unbraced for it... I really don't know if it could be enough to break it, what i do know it sure ain't a situation I'd want to be in, I know how problematic getting cracked in the neck can be, it ain't nice. But I really don't know if it could be strong enough to wipe you out and leave you dead/paralysed, its just the thought of not being prepared with your muscles relaxed and then suddenly boom, that kinda concerns me

shit, utd have had some serious close calls this year though, with Ferdinand nearly getting blinded by that coin, and that gash that nearly ended rooneys career

SAF is mainly mad because the ref did not help his team win. FA will take action against the young ref for not helping united win.
