That terrible nonce doesn't know he kisses his hand after scoring EVERY SINGLE GOAL.
How do those commentators get paid to spout so much shit ? If they all get nuked, I won't miss any of them.
As Mansfield manager said, he is a striker and it was an instinct. Not his problem that the ref and linesman missed it.
Watch Ferguson call for a ban this week, so he won't play next week
Using his hand is an instinct in a game that expressly prohibits use of hands
Was Suarez a goalkeeper in the past?
Stick with the "unintentional" defense - that ones got some weight
The "instinctive" part is referring to him putting it in the net AFTER the unintentional handball, not the handball itself. But then, taking the 10 seconds to make that nuanced distinction would take away from the time that can be spent vilifying the player, so I can understand why you couldn't be arsed to put in the effort.

Jon Champion is a legend, if anything he is right.

Re: Suarez handball goal vs Mansfield
He gets it, and he's not trying to play the political game by discrediting a player in the media. He knows that every striker in every match is giving 100% to put the ball in the back of the net. That's the kind of player he wants, and the kind of player I want on my team. He also knows that Suarez didn't have time to premeditate it. Suarez only did his job and tried to score. The referee is the one that truly failed Mansfield. If you go back and watch it in real time, after the play is over, Suarez looks around expecting it to be disallowed.Messiah "Aggerswagger" wrote:Class words from Mansfield's manager. Top man
Let the haters hate. It doesn't affect Suarez and it shouldn't affect us.
Oh, and those commentators saying that kissing his wrist is "Adding insult to injury..." REALLY!?!? IS IT NOW?!? I suppose he he tattooed the name of his baby daughter on that wrist as coincidence and has been doing that celebration for years in preparation of this goal against Mansfield Town... Do your homework before you come to work next time or don't bother showing up at all. I'd rather listen to the wind whistling past the microphone.

Don't agree if you watch how he kicks the ball you can tell he clearly thinks the ref is going to blow up and knows he got away with it.
Definitely intentional and i also don't agree with Rodgers that this about Suarez....
If any other player did the same thing the reaction would be similar.
I just feel sorry for Mansfield tbh.

yeah no
"He is a striker and it was an instinct. Not his problem that the ref and the linesman missed it."
So the ref and linesman missed him "putting the ball into the net AFTER the unintentional handball" ?
because that makes total sense
So unless "it" refers to two separate things in these two consecutive sentences (which is terrible English tbf), you're full of it

Re: Suarez handball goal vs Mansfield
please like there was any chance Mansfield was going to beat us. the best thing they could've hoped for was a return leg at Anfield which Suarez would've loved to pad his stats in.
There is no feeling sorry for Mansfield because even if that wasn't counted we would've defended harder and made sure not to concede. And if we did again the return leg at Anfield would've been a walk in the park. This isn't some Football League team we're talking about, they are a Conference Team, their players aren't even full time professionals ffs.

Watched the 2nd half of this game and Mansfield had like 3-4 clear penalties denied, shocking refereeing.

That's why i feel sorry for them, they are a non league club and a replay at Anfield would have been financially great for them.
Not because they could have won.

Pool fans have come out and said how shite the referees were today. We agree that it was a handball, not like we're denying it.
Anyways it's nice to see some calls go our way after so long.

You would be surprised but I was actually hoping for a draw

But you only BARELY won 2-1 by the handball goal. Don't try to make it out as if Liverpool were ahead 3-0Messiah "Aggerswagger" wrote: please like there was any chance Mansfield was going to beat us. the best thing they could've hoped for was a return leg at Anfield which Suarez would've loved to pad his stats in.

We weren't playing Barca, Madrid, or Bayern. It's a Conference Team (meaning Sunday league, bunch of guys from the pub playing football as a hobby). F*ck all they would've done even if that goal didn't stand.

You do know that we conceded after we got the 2-0 cushion. Players will put their foot off the gas if you're two up with 10 mins to go. Basics.

That he did something that is against the rules and punched the ball into the net to knock a non-league team out?
Just a wild stab in the dark mind.

Punched the ball into the net
There is a difference between an unintentional touch of the hand by it projecting off your feet onto the hand, compared to using it to control the ball.
Shouldn't have been a goal but let's not exhagerrate here.

Fair enough he always kisses his hand after he scores, and as soon as he scored he did it, fair game. But after that all the mansfield players run to the ref, then the crowd starts booing and then he kisses his hand AGAIN, c*nt move imo

Re: Suarez handball goal vs Mansfield
No, he didn't. He celebrated exactly as he does for every other goal. In fact, it was more subdued than normal because of how it happened. He only kissed his wrist/hand in the exact same manner he always does. Please do not make up blatant lies.
