Amazing gesture by Beckham , but there is a man who's done it even more.

Beckham is donating close to 4.6 million when he is worth 167 million personally.
Craig Bellamy donated 3.9 million when he is worth 21 million personally.

I know Beckham didn't ask for press confrence to announce it, but there are some players out there who donate an insane amount, but keep it quite

Everyone can say "Yeah he's got enough money, no big deal that he is doing it", but you don't see any other sportsman or business man doing the same. The richer, the greedier. So one can only hold their hands up in this situation and say that he truly is one of a kind. An amazing person, always has been a top guy throughout his career (going by people who have said anything about him in the press).
