I agree with Mole, but where does Beckham fit into the XI? Surely to capitalise on his marketability they'll have to give him some decent game time

but where? he would have to play instead of Verrati and Motta. Motta is hurt right now... i think he'll get spot starts and be the first sub in.

He's been playing in the MLS for the last 5 years....

He has been excellent in MLS the past 2 seasons btw. Beckham and Henry both have played well. If it's ok for Arsenal to play Henry on loan from NY, i don't see why it's a problem for Beckham.

MLS is a garbage league.

Whenever he gets the ball at his feet he can still ping it around the park with relative ease. Useful set pieces are still, most definitely, in his arsenal of tools. Should be a relatively interesting affair, really, the worst he can do is serve as a done-all, seen-all mentor to PSG's young talent.

The wage he would have taken will be given directly to a Children's charity in Paris.

What a guy seriously. Not going to make a cent in wages and helps a charity despite getting ridiculously lucrative offers around the world.

It's good PR to him... but nobody foregoes 10s of millions these days. Most older superstar footballers just try to cash out even though they've earned ridiculous sums before.

I've never heard of a top footballer doing this... truly. You have to understand how much earnings he's walking away from. 6 months is at least 6 million for Beckham, not to mention that he could get injured and that the other offers may not show up this summer.
