Schalke 04 vs Borussia Dortmund

After our beloved Borussia Dortmund, has mastered the week with a 3-0 win at home against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, the week-in-week out League matches come back. Week-in-week out league matches? Not really, because it's derby time!

First-round:

It was probably the lowest point of the season. A derby defeat at home in the first round, in which they lost 1:2 to Schalke... it hurt so much. Back then Höger and Afellay scored for the Royal Blues, while Lewandowski scored the only goal for Dortmund.

Reparation:

There can be only one goal for our boys today: reparation. Not only to get a revenge against our neighbours but also to get the 3 points and strengthen our position for the direct Champions League places.

Team news:

Borussia Dortmund: Bild just reported that Kehl will 100% miss the match and Bender is doubtful, Hummels is back, Owomoyela is still out.

Schalke 04: Unnerstall, Papadopoulos, Afellay and Marica are all out with injuries. Jones is suspended. Uchida and Farfan are back from injury and available for Jens Keller.

HT: 2-0 to Schalke.

Getting completely dominated.

Everyone except Piszczek and Weidenfeller looks out ot depth. Bender winning nothing in the centre midfield, Gündogan is having a shocker, Hummels having his best Vermaelen impression, Subotic what the hell man, Lewandowski only had 6 touches which says it all, Götze great last second clearance but is having decision problems in attack, Großkreutz... is he even playing?

The better team is winning but it's not over, bring Sahin on for Gündogan and Reus for Großkreutz. Maybe later Schieber for Kuba aswell and hope that Kloppo is having some words with the boys at half-time. It's like they all look uninterested, smh.

Well, in the second half it was Dortmund who dominated after Kevin Großkreutz and the still unfit Mats Hummels were replaced by Nuri Sahin and Marco Reus. (Sven Bender took over at CB and Sahin slotted in next to Ilkay Gündogan).

Schalke were lucky that Lewa scored only one goal and the final result was Schalke 2:1 Dortmund.

Schalke are weakend for the Galatasaray match now as the Hunter suffered an injury to his knee.
