I was just reading an ask me anything the guy who voiced Noctis did

he's a FF fanboy, played a lot of the games

as crazy as it seems because the chemistry was on point he revealed that none of the 4 main party were ever in the same place to record their lines Shocked

Also articles came out today saying the first DLC will be the Gladiolus and feature a classic FF villain

Final Fantasy XV’s first round of downloadable content is set to drop on December 22, Square Enix revealed today. Two types of content will be available with the Holiday Pack and Holiday Pack Plus – the latter available exclusively for Season Pass holders.

In addition to the Holiday Pack, fans can download a new update adding New Game Plus, and a photo frame feature for social media updloads. Both Holiday Packs will be distributed at the same time as these free updates.

New Game Plus will allow you to bring your clear data over to a new game. SNS photo framing will allow fans to attach photo frames when posting to social networks.

Holiday Pack Plus

A bunch of accessories helpful for playing FFXV and a pack of carnival tickets for the January event.
Accessories include:

Protect Ring
Command Booster (Only for Noctis)
Phantom Booster (Only for Noctis)
Instant Kill Victory Song

The episodes and some of the future ones are worth looking into. It always depends on how they turn out, but I can't imagine that I'll pass on episode gladio/ignis/prompto.

The one that is free here there is no reason not to get I guess.

Started the post game today after a break of some days. Did some smaller quests that I hadn't done. Then picked a new one and... got wrecked. Also the imperial troopers falling on you got a lot stronger.

Yea before 31st dec hopefully.

Man this game is so unpolished that it hurts. Cut Scenes specially are a turn off at times. FF13 was shit but the cut scenes were amazing and it was coherent.

Always said Kitase and Toriyama are better directors than Tabata.

will talk about it more once you've finished but I've definitely soured on it slightly since the honeymoon phase, lots of issues with the game, still enjoyable though.

yeah saw tons of ppl disappointed with the cutscenes by FF standards, there are only like 2-3 legit CGI cutscenes in the entire game, the in game cutscenes are very poor and outdated looking besides one IMO

you should beat it by xmas, second half of the game is very short in comparison

This is not on Tabata, they needed time. Its on Nomura for making a mess that Tabata had to come in and fix quickly. FFXIII was very polished, can't get more than that in terms of "finish" about a game's narrative.

Ravus scene was cool.

Anyways, got the Gladiolus trophy. Going to rush the game now. Already done 50 sidequests so rest will come easy

every time you come across a new fishing spot, do what I did, catch 5-10 fish there

if you have to grind it from like level 3 to 10 you will go crazy, takes quite a while

luckily I got the hang of fishing by the end and kept catching high value fish

what chapter you on? chapter 8 to the end you can do in like 4-5 hours

yeah but screw that dungeon, hated it

I had to use a guide for the generators, place is a maze, I actually spent like an hour there doing a quest for Cindy, killed a mini boss who I thought was the main boss (was harder than the main boss IMO) then left..only to realize there was more and had to go back

The mini boss was hard as hell. All the fights with Yojimbos kicked my ass. In the end I was hoping for a summon to come through but none did. Liked it though. That was my first postgame stuff. Good challenge.

it's technically main game stuff btw, I haven't touched any of the post game dungeons myself, you have to finish all the main dungeons to be able to do the post game dungeons, but I never got around to them, something for me to do once I pick it up again for DLC

the mini boss was just annoying, thankfully I had a lot of items because my teammates were getting petrified every 10 seconds, my summon showed up but did so when there was like 500hp left on the thing ffs

there's a glitch that let's you have Aranea as a permanent party member ffs, need to try that
