No mate i believe you!!! Btw wasn't talking about replacing Suarez just was asking about him as i saw his name pop up somewhere. Nothing serious at all.

Anyhow the rumors mill has really gone dull in terms of transfers in.

Bernard might go to Porto or Arsenal. Eriksen rumors are non-existent. Soldado rumors are not at all reliable. Nothing concrete on Cissokho yet. Sad

Muriel stated at the end of the season that he wanted to stay with Udinese at least for the upcoming season to improve his game. Also he's got a 4 year contract. I don't know if anyone can sign him this summer.

Actually Udinese dont want to let him go so early as they want him to develop there so that they can milk cash rich clubs a year or two later. If Liverpool really want him now,he wont come for cheap ,you really have to overpay for him something around 25m perhaps or maybe even more who knows as they value his talents highly and know he would bring them a lot of money. You cant underestimate Udinese, they sold Sanchez for 40m after one good season.

I have no idea how good Muriel is, in his 15 matches, including 7 as sub, he is involved in 14 goals (11 goals and 3 assists). I think if he is available at the right price, can we go for both eriksen and muriel, instead of signing a defender ?? Just a question

Well Suarez actually wants to leave, Muriel wants to stay for at least another year and get better. Kind of like Eriksen rejecting all those big teams when he was 18 to stay at Ajax and get better.

I don't know how useful he'll be on the right. Sturridge can play there and Muriel up top. Just a suggestion.

True, yet he still wants to stay and get better. What I'm trying to say is that it's harder to poach player away from their clubs if they don't want to leave.

I think he a talented player that's lacking in confidence. Barca would probably sell him too. Could be worth a bid.

The latest interview of BR I read:
BR wrote:
He said: “I know what we are trying to build and grow, so why would you swap Liverpool to go to Arsenal?

“I am not sure that it adds up to be honest. Arsenal has a wonderful history in its own right, but Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“Okay, we might not be in the Champions League and haven’t been for a while now, but our competitors have grown around us and we have to step up to the challenge now.

Would it be a mistake for Luis to leave? 100%. The team was built around Luis last season.

“I made some big calls to get the team to work in a way to suit his strengths and it is no coincidence he had a great season apart from the end bit. We would love to have him to continue the next phase.”

Liverpool were given another warm reception on their arrival in Bangkok for the final leg of their pre-season tour. Suarez is expected to line up against Thailand on Sunday before the squad return to the UK.

“It is difficult for Luis, I understand that,” Rodgers said.

“If a team wants you, it can be difficult, but I am not sure many teams will have done what we have done in the last couple of games. I am sure Luis will have seen the sheer size and status of the club on this trip.

“But it is not something we want to run on too long. It is something that can’t run on too long.”

Rodgers refused to be drawn on whether Suarez submitting a transfer request would force Liverpool's hand.

However, the manager praised the club's principal owner John W Henry and chairman Tom Werner for their hardline stance throughout the summer-long saga.

“Luis is under contract so I haven’t even thought about that (a transfer request),” Rodgers said.
“If a player tells you he really wants to go then you have to look at it.

“But it is a situation we are in control of because he has three years left on his contract. Unless something changes or there is an offer which is heavily increased, he is still very much a Liverpool player.

“I can categorically say the owners have been brilliant throughout this process. The board and club has stayed very strong. It is very simple - we don’t want to sell one of our top players.

“We will continue to work on improving our squad rather than breaking it up.”

Can you please post the link of where you saw it. I find it hard to believe Rodgers said those exact words. Seems way too casual, unlike Rodgers.

Right, Arsenal being unable/unwilling to meet the valuations of Higuain and Jovetic certainly doesn't bode well for LFC keeping hold of a player that Liverpool value significantly higher than the other two were by their selling clubs.

Luis Suarez will not be going to Arsenal.

Not too sure why people are keen for him to move there, even if they did cough up 50m+ for him.

The last thing LUIS has said was he IF he was to leave, it'd be OUT OF England. (The very first interview where he said it'd be hard to say no to Madrid.)

Why would he move to Arsenal? All agent talk / news coming from the Arsenal camp suggests he wants CL football. I can't seem to find any quotes to suggest that is the case. BBC reportedly it so, but there's no quotes on there.

I really want Arsenal to try and get him for the next week or so, because they've lost Higgy and Jovetic now. And they won't be signing Luis.

Gives a very clear indication that BR was prepared for offers from other clubs for Reina. I guess the Barca rumors were true . .

There it is!! Best of luck Pepe!!
