ESPN is reporting that Arsenal has offered Nasri the same salary as Cesc. To me, he's probably going to stay if this is true... of course, ESPN seems to be using the London Evening Standard as a source and i have no idea who the heck they are lol.

Guess I didn't see it actually happening and now that it may, it's kinda put me off a bit.

All the journos from the north west, the journos with the contacts in the club say Utd are favourites while City are only monitoring the situation.

If he wants to come hell come, either accept 22m now or get embarassed next year when we get him for free.

Whats the point in holding out for 10m more in the Cesc deal when youre throwing away 22m?

Its a simple concept Iceman but Im not surprised you havent grasped it
right now Arsenal could sell Cesc and Nasri for a combined 52m, but if they get what they want, theyll sell Cesc and let Nasri run his contract down...so theyd lose out on 12m.
How the hell does that work? you dont negotiate downwards

Sell Nasri to Utd and only Utd improve
Sell him to City so Utd go for Sneijder...2 rivals improve

Arsene Wenger said the first time he heard the rumour of Man Utd's interest that he would not sell him to Man Utd. He didn't say "well, I'll consider it if they offer a lot." Wenger is very careful with his words to the media in relation to transfers, so when he says he will not do something, he will not do it.

Anyway, I don't think he is going anywhere, including City. In fact, Wenger said TODAY on the Arsenal website that he will do everything he can to keep Cesc and Nasri. Why would he say that at breakfast and by dinner be in advanced stages of selling one of them? Also, even if Nasri does leave, what are the chances Arsenal will really give another player to City when there is interest from other clubs?
