So it does looks like its going to happen by a crazy amount.... will this be another piece of bad business by Perez? I just dont see how Real will be able to 'milk' fromt his deal, Bale isnt anywhere going to be as popular. Hes class but I just dont see how he can fit into the team effectively. Ancelotti will have to change his 11 to fit him in or do crazy amount of rotation.

If they try to settle him in it will take some time which I hope would disrupt their results Twisted Evil

Marketability in football depends on your performance on the pitch and conduct off it. If Bale does not score goals or does not produce brilliant performances, then his marketability goes down and his ability to command a premium in endorsement deals and other image rights will diminish, no matter how brilliant Perez is.

The main thing about this transfer that has turned people's head around is the price tag, period - not the player's ability or swagger. Because there are at least 30 footballers who surpass the Welshman in that regard.

He is not in the same league as Cristiano, hell, he ain't even close to Kaká (back in the days).

Flo know his stuff in terms of finances. I have absolutely zero doubt we'll make money off of Bale. We have zero issues financially...

Yea. We find ways to get the liquidity required to do what we need to do. I don't know why some people think that's evil. If you're a institution that turns a massive profit every single year and has never defaulted on a loan - people are going to invest.

No one wants the TV situation to change more than us. As it stands we have the least global network of any major league. You think that helps us? A collective agreement would be huge for the league...and for us. We're just looking for an agreement where we don't get completely screwed in the process.

There has to be some proportion, some reward for the money you bring in, some reward for higher places. As it stands clubs simply want to tax us for being better than them at making money. That's not enough, they have to show some initiative of their own.

Real Madrid have been pushing for earlier starts which would be beneficial as that would allow us to enter the Asian market but at this rate they will never get it done (apart from games here and there) and laligas appeal in that part of the world will decrease

Poor logic.This is an open market and leagues fights for more exposure. The most viewed league's wont stay the same for ever..Italian league was by far the most popular league back then what happened to it now?

Having a collective deal will give the league more exposure and viewers.plus all that are irrelevant,the new La liga deal expected to sign in 14-15 is worth around 1.3 billion and RM and Barca are expected to get around 155 mill Euros...so yeah with a centralized TV deal we will be earning more than we earn now.
