It is sad to see, they really should pack out that place like every other top club, but they don't.

And it's not even as if it were a dead rubber game (if such a thing even exists in the CL for this European flop club) against some no-name minnow like Maribor, Victoria Plzen or something. It's Roma. And they still couldn't fill the bloody thing. Pathetic.

Yeah. I'd be loving it if I were a city fan, you'd be able to rock up and almost any game and get a ticket.

José Mourinho targets Champions League knockout round qualification with 2 games to spare following Lisbon win:
Jose Mourinho has called on his Chelsea side to clinch Champions League knock-out qualification with two games to spare
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-target-champions-league-knockout-4355389

"We missed a lot of chances, I know, but we got three points and in the group it is about points."

"Now we are in control of our destiny. Next we play two games against Maribor. If we manage six points, that would be 10 and job done, so we have just to focus on beating Maribor."

tbf the other three sides are by no means garunteed to get out of their group, let alone finish first, whereas for Chelsea first place in the group should be a formality

Besides, in recent seasons it's been us and Utd flying the England flag. Without Utd, it's got to be us.

JT on the Champions League:

“There have been many [highlights] over the years but, when we beat Barça and Bayern Munich in the early days, the first taste of it…” said the centre-half. “But for me the most important thing is not just the 100 appearances but to strive to go on and win it again for the club. On a personal note I’m delighted to reach that many games, it’s a great achievement, I think only 28 players have done it. So to stay in a great side for that long and to play that many games is an honour.”

“I hope this team is good enough to win it again. That’s obviously the target, the mentality of where we are as a club, and it has been for the last 10 years or so since the owner came in. With José Mourinho back in now, that’s our target and that’s the standard. Maybe 10 years ago when we first came into it that wasn’t the expectation but now, with the money that’s been invested, the players we have and the experience we have in the competition, that’s always the target.”

“I’m still driven on by missing the final two years ago. The biggest night ever for the club, and I didn’t play in it. But I played in one [in Moscow] and I felt a massive part of it, and the players made me feel a huge part of Munich. Along the way you look back at games, like the Napoli game [in the 2012 last-16 tie] and others where you played a big part as well. But, because it’s me, people look and say: ‘He’s not won it.’ People like to have their digs and their pops, but I know I played a huge part, in the dressing room and on the field as well, so I count myself to have won it. No one speaks about the other 10 players who weren’t on the pitch that night in Munich as well. Maybe that’s me and that’s where I am at as a player.”

Chelsea are the only English candidates to win Champions League, says Xabi Alonso:
Bayern Munich and former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso believes only Jose Mourinho's men can rival the Germans, Real Madrid and Barcelona for the crown
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-only-english-candidates-win-4468220

"Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, ourselves - Dortmund are always a tricky club to play against. So I respect lots of clubs; Paris Saint Germain as well."

Chelsea can WIN the Champions League, says Loic Remy:
Loic Remy says he believes that Chelsea have what it take to win the Champions League, but that the Blues will be taking things one step at a time
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/526005/Loic-Remy-Chelsea-injury-groin-Champions-League-Maribor-Jose-Mourinho

"I think we can win the Champions League but we take game after game and have enough quality to win the Champions League but the way is really long so taking it game after game will be better."
