One of my favorite players but Arteta was right to omit him from the team,in fact terrible decision to give him new contract which was way before Arteta anyway

The game, tactically, moved on from players like him right as his clout and financial power were at their peak. Perfect storm to contribute to a fall from grace that didn't need to be so dramatic. Plenty of top players continue to be valuable into their thirties. So many reasons Ozil is not one of them.

Great publicity from his agent, on AFTV of all platforms lol. Probably a degree of truth to it, too. But that doesn't explain how he fell out of favor with Wenger, Emery, Arteta and now with Fenerbahce and their hierarchy.

He should make his MLS move ASAP.

Özil is a clown. A dramatic diva who seldom showed up in big moments and basically sulked in countless moments rather than actually competing and had a tendency to make it about himself. He is pulling similar stunts in Turkey and is just plain finished.
