Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Don't know why he's even having the scan, Twitter's already decided it's a one-month injury.

Our only saving grace is that our next 4/5 games are relatively easy

So sad for Theo. His season ended with a terrific moment, at least.
Gnabry and the Ox will have to make it happen on the right flank, I think.

Dunno, im sad for Walcott and hope he recovers back to his best as soon as possible. But he has started less than half our league games and we're at the top of the table. Don't think our season is over just yet

People have already forgotten how much we struggled to break down our opponents without our wide players? Theo will be missed badly

That is true but we had Ramsey and Giroud who were both scoring a lot at that time.

Walcott will be missed. He is our main goal threat and a big game player.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Yeah I agree he will be missed. Just saying we've found ways of grinding out wins without the pace and width he offers. Hopefully our returning players will sufficiently offset his absence

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
With any luck, Ramsey will re-find some of his early season form after some time off and Giroud will start scoring again. This is prime time for Podolski, Wilshere and Cazorla to step it up in terms of goalscoring as well.
We've got the resources to cope, just need to use them well.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
FYI, when Theo was out we also had no Poldi, Ox and Gnabry wasn't playing. We have all but Theo now so our flanks aren't in tatters. We can still spread opposing defensive lines with those three.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
I thought it would be longer than expected but feck me
I guess this is the universe just balancing out the fact that we didn't sell a major player this year by taking one by force. I really hope that he is still the same player when he comes back.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Here we are . It has to happen Sad
Losing a player like Theo is a massive blow , no matter how you looks at it. I fear that we won't buy anyone and keep about the same squad. Consequently it going to hurt us .
Hopefully this season won't be like 2007-2008 : finishing 3rd , only 4points behind Man U and we went 1 month without winning ( 4 draws, 1 lost ) .

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Very sad news about Theo. Just when he was hitting top form and then the World Cup thing, gutted for him. I hope we can still see the best of him in the coming years, despite the injury.
That said, the outrage - the constant moaning about how our season is done is just stupid. We've come so far because we have a TEAM, not because of a few individuals - when one is out, the other one steps up, it's been like this all season.
I don't see why Podolski, Chamberlain and Gnabry can't step up and give us those extra goals and assists in crucial moments the way Walcott does. Have faith, we have a good squad this time.
