Is Bale 2nd best player at Real Madrid?

I think its a tie between him and Benzema.

Would count Benzema, Xabi, Modric and Di Maria ahead of him.

At the moment is hard to choose, but I don't think Benzema is up there. It's between Bale, Modric, Xabi and Di Maria. Marcelo and Benzema after them.

There's a coherence to our play at the moment, which I attribute in part to the hiatus we had from Cristiano, and the fact that pretty much everyone is on the same level.

Expect it to disappear in the next month.

Modric is our second best if not our best player this seaosn.

Modric has been better this season overall. There's a good chance Bale can be 2nd best though if he manages to steer clear of injuries and if scores regularly. In fact not regularly, I'd say he would have to score as much as Ronaldo. Benzema's kinda scored regularly and  Modric has still been better. Unfortunately goalscorers always tend to be ranked ahead of other players. I'm sure most fans would agree Modric's overall performances have been better than Ronaldo's, it's just the insane amount of goals.

Modric has certainly been the most consistent, but there's still something that bothers me about him. Very spoilt to complain, but I feel as though he plays at a speed and a general level just below what we need to be a great team.

Yaya is the reference point I measure him against this year, and so far Yaya's been better.

I really think some are underestimating benz a bit too much, his passing,link up and vision is Top Class probably the best outta the front 3 imo, its only a matter of time before he starts dribbling more and create his own shots more consistently.

As of now I would go with modders been good all season that counts for a lot.

Bale is absolute class. Happy he is proving to everyone that he is a legit WC talent by shining at RM.

Casillas, Pepe, or Xabi Alonso are the ones behind Ronaldo.

Right now it is Modric and it's not even close.

Benzema has prob been our best player in 2014 if I am fair.

Very impressive, class player. Although will need more time to show if his link up can get better. Hes still scoring great individual goals it seems mainly.

Alot of players have a case for this if I am honest. Nonetheless Bale is part of that bunch

in my opinion I'd say Pepe has been the best because we are actually keeping cleansheets for god knows how long

And honestly, since C.Ronaldo won the ballon d'or this season, he has been the same as Messi i.e stat-padding. Di Maria and, especially, Modric has been better than C.Ronaldo since then.

Messi's best season statsistically was the biggest stat padding I have ever seen. When he cored those 73 goals he stat padded for most of the season. Ironically both Messi and ronaldo had their best seasons when they scored just under 55 goals.

Bro, I think that you are confusing me with Harmonica. I don't care about stat. Sure Messi scored 90+ goals and gave 25+ assist in 2012, but I consider his best ever season to be 2011, when he scored and assisted less than in 2012 but dominated games alot more.

and, imho, and I don't think that you can compare Messi in 2012 to C.Ronaldo this year. Messi in the 2012 was our main creative player and main goalscorer. Even when he didn't score or assist, he almost always was one of our top 2-3 player in the game.
