As seen at last night's NXT Arrival special, WWE aired footage of people such as Ric Flair, John Cena, the Orange County Mayor and others in the crowd watching the show.

A fan in attendance noted that each one of those people were moved into position right before the shot, and left the crowd right after they appeared on TV.

Daniel Bryan's red "Yes" shirt is seemingly in heavy demand. WWE's website is showing the shirt is currently only in stock for Small, 4XL and 5XL and it is said to have sold a lot more recently given the popularity of Daniel Bryan.

People who spoke to CM Punk at last weekend's UFC pay-per-view from Las Vegas noted that he seemed very non-committal about his status with WWE and treated it like it was something in his past.

At last Monday's RAW from Green Bay, there was no talk among the talents that anyone would be seeing Punk next week.

Internally, Punk is not expected to be at Monday's RAW from his hometown of Chicago and there is concern over what the crowd will do without him there.

Definitely a heel now. Great promo by Heeltista. This means Orton is turning face, they won't do a heel vs heel main event.

Can definitely see then doing Batista vs Orton vs winner of HHH/Bryan only for HHH to win to get the Evolution Explosion dream match! Might even throw Ric Flair in for good measures.

How I would have booked face Batista.

Triple H announces Brock Lesnar will be in the Royal Rumble match. Paul Heyman promises that Lesnar will win and destroy everyone in his path.

Lesnar enters the Rumble with a steel chair instead of El Torito/JBL/Kevin Nash. He absolutely destroys shit. He eliminates two or three entrants, not going to eliminate too many so Reigns can break the record. He is not that interested in eliminations, he is hitting everyone with chairs and giving F5s. He is slowed down a bit by the big guns, Sheamus, CM Punk, Roman Reigns but Heyman gives him another steel chair and he has the advantage again. He is just bullying everyone and not even bothering to eliminate anyone. Everyone is lying in the ring with Lesnar standing tall.

Batista's music hits, crowd explodes. He is a surprise entrant so he would get a huge reaction. He runs to the ring, dodges a chair shot and spears Lesnar and screams I'm back. Another massive pop from the crowd. Batista throws the chair away and has a staredown with Lesnar. They brawl and the crowd explodes. Lesnar gets the upper hand and applies the Kimora Lock. Batista lifts him and gives the Spinebuster. By that time the others regain consciousness and brawl among themselves. Del Rio tries to sneak eliminate Batista but Batista eliminates him. Lesnar regroups and tries to F5 Batista but Batista counters and eliminates him. Lesnar goes apeshit. He is taken away by security.

Match progresses and Batista is in the final 4. Lesnar returns from the crowd and eliminates Batista. Lesnar and Batista have a massive brawl on ringside until security seperates them.

Next night on RAW, Lesnar demands that he gets a WWE World title shot. Batista comes out and they have another fight. Batista wins the brawl and Batista Bombs Lesnar on the announce table. Next week Batista gets in his feud with Del Rio. On Elimination Chamber Batista beats Del Rio but after the match Lesnar attacks him, spears him through the barricade and F5s him on the announce table.

Next night on RAW Batista challenges Lesnar to a match at Wrestlemania. Paul Heyman declines saying Lesnar only wants a title match. Ric Flair comes and provokes Heyman to accept the challenge. The match is set.

There you have a dream match. And to compensate for Brock Lesnar and face Batista's lack of mic skills, you have Paul Heyman and Ric Flair in their respective corners. Both of them are among the greatest mic workers in wrestling history and can bring more hype to the feud.

Batista allowed to be natural and comes back and cuts one of the best heel promos in the last couple of years outside of Heyman

Shouldn't have been wasted on Smackdown though IMO, should have done it on RAW. I wouldn't have seen it if you guys didn't mention it here. I haven't been checking for Smackdown in 8 years

They should just insert Punk into the Main Event now, I think he'd maybe come back for that, it writes itself basically.

Punk says he took a time out because he was disgusted management basically handed Batista the rumble over people like Bryan and screwed him out of it, and gave him top spot when they've been busting their asses for the company.

Batista says blame yourselves there are no stars today, nobody dominant enough, that's why they begged me to come back and clean house, etc.

I think those two would play off each other well. Just not sure where Orton fits in.

I don't see CM Punk returning but who knows.

WWE Superstar Tensai, real name Matt Bloom, worked tonight's NXT TV tapings on commentary as he often does. However, tonight he was reportedly introduced as Jason Alberts.

Problem with Lesnar in the title match is what do you do with Taker lol?

They really don't have any alternatives.

They had Punk to put in the title match and leave Lesnar to face Taker but he's doing his own thing, could have done Cena but that's dead in the water after the Bray angle.

It's not perfect but really outside of dream world and being realistic there's not really anything else they could have done.

Apart from booking Batista and Orton better ofc.

That's the problem with WWE right now and has been for years, there's nowhere near enough star power ( which is why they keep bringing the old guys back) at least now there's guys with potential to be stars though.
