Yeh somehow got Morata on loan. Maybe it was because he was a 'squad rotation' player or something.

Adrien Silva, 78 rated CM from Sporting Lisbon, gets to 83.

Some Portuguese playmaker who used to play for Sporting, I think?

I've got a Sevilla career going. Did the the boring thing and turned off the first transfer window. Playing the team that's the stuff of Emery's worst nightmares:

Beto (81)

Coke (78) - Pareja (78) - Carrico (76) - Tremoulinas (77)

Banega (80) - Krychowiak (79)

Vitolo (77) - Denis (72) - Deulofeu (79)

Bacca (81)

Subs: Barbosa (74), Arribas (78), Diogo (75), Iborra (79), Vidal (75), Reyes (77), Gameiro (79)

Major fail on the part of EA's researchers to somehow improve Vitolo's attributes and include a picture of him, yet get his footedness wrong for the second year in a row.

The Tremoulinas-Deulofeu combo down the left has been amazing.

lmao, they really do pay the least attention on career mode.

I started one with Arsenal. And just like Arsene, I couldn't decide on who to buy for DM and ST. Well Welbeck was already there so I didn't bother but I did sell Giroud for 10.5m to Lyon which looked like a great deal. Had 55m to spend after selling Flamini too for 3m to Burnley.

Eventually I ended up buying

Junior Malanda(DM). 20 year old DM rated 73 atm but he grows till 85 apparently(didn't know that at that time) for 6.5m plus Coquelin. He has 91 strength

Yussuf Poulsen(ST) for £7m. For a 6,4 he is quite fast and skilful.

José Giménez(CB) for £7m from Atletico

My team

----------------------------Szczesny-----------------------------------

Debuchy--------------Mertesacker------Koscielny--------------Gibbs

-------------------------------Arteta------------------------------------

-------------------Ramsey----------------Ozil--------------------------

Walcott------------------------Welbeck-----------------------Sanchez

Not starting Malanda atm since he is a bit weak in terms of technique and passing(can actually tell). Slowly easing him in and hoping he gets to 76 by next season.

I am not doing that well atm since I am struggling to score. Tottenham beat me 4-0 at home lol. Got two warnings already by the board.

Going to change the system and maybe try Wilshere as the DM

No point selling players on strict board difficulty imo. Best to just use them as part exchange.

He is. Has the free roam thing on him as well as staying up while attack. ramsey is restricted. Sanchez cuts in while Walcott stays wide(might change it for him to cut in as well)

I really like the tactics thing they have put in.

Tactics has been useful towards actually getting something from my wide players. On default, they're always behind the play and take an age to catch up. At least now I can set one to always stay forward and cut inside. Also telling one of my DMs to always stay back is great.

Going to try and play on World Class difficulty with manual controls. 30 consecutive 0-0 draws incoming. Proud

I wonder why they never seem to be able to get the height of the players right. Ramos and Bale are shorter this year than they've been in past FIFA games, Carvajal is tiny, Casillas and Benzema got their heights boosted Razz

Talking about online. 15 is too arcadey. No teamplay. You pass it to a forward that's fast and dribble past the whole mid/defense cause the defending is a joke.

So many times have I ran past the midfield from kickoff down to the opponent's gk and scored while he couldn't do anything beacuse of fifa's stupidity. Same goes for the opponent doing the same against me with a shitty player.

My cam Atsu (don't even know who tf he is) shouldn't be able to dribble past players like he's messi ffs.

Nearly lost to Hull at home ffs.

2-0 down at HT. Kicked Rosicky out(only played him because he was crying), then got Sanchez behind Walcott and won 3-2 via Welbeck penalty in the end Proud

Using Wele as a RW atm since he is a bit shit upfront for me.

This ultimate team crap is ruining FIFA franchise as a whole for me. They keep making FIFA more and more arcady and eye-candy for FUT. Perhaps that's where they earn their money?

Passing is this game has been bothering me off for ages and even more so this year. It just doesn't make sense. When you can get from defence to attack in a matter of seconds, why would you want to pass it around in the midfield instead? What is the point of ever clearing the ball in defence when you can actually make laser accurate passes to your striker in the tightest of areas? Why even press when the opponent's defenders pass the ball around like they are Pirlo at his prime? You watch an online match in Division 5+ and tell me how it could look remotely close to a real football match...

Defending also is pretty bad, cut ins are so rewarding and hard to stop that everyone online just ignores doing anything else. I blame the defensive AI but I gradually have found a solution to it by manually overriding my CB's from going towards the goal. But even then the physicality is so minimal in this game that you could be tackling the attacker perfectly but he somehow manages to escape it at ease because the game is just geared towards (pacey) attackers.

I also miss playing unranked online matches where there is no pressure to win so you could try things out and play with low ranked teams against world class teams. But apparently the feature was not popular so FIFA decided not to write a few lines of code to have that feature (read: it wasn't making money for EA as much as FUT so it was scrapped).

I'm just sitting patiently till everyone realizes how much of a beast Jefferson Cuero is.

Silver rare, 70 overall, 93 pace and 4 star skill moves.
I picked him up trying to build a Colombian team and tried him out and he's amazing as a super sub.

I snatched up like 4 of his cards for like 650 a piece and now his prices is nearing about 2000. Some guy is trying to up his price just saw about 10 of his going for 9400. Pls happen I want dat businessssss
