why people nowadays love inconsistent player?

that player produced 5 star performance in 1 big match, after that disappear in 10 matches, but still have a lot of fan

Its really hard to answer the question without knowing the subject of the question.

Not sure if this answers this but I would like to assume he is referring to the mercurial type of footballer. The guys who can be all flash and sometimes no substance.

And not all of us prefer those type of footballers. In fact, there are few and far between on these forums.

Hazard is one too.

I swear he has had 4 dominate matchs this season at the most and people swear he is god. He's the only guy who can directly be responsible for 2 goals, come out and critisize the team, and no fans call him out on it. He really hasnt earned the right to moan to the press, and it shows how low the media is that they would stick a mic in front of his face.

De Bench can complain about the type of football because at the end of the day, whether you like it or not, De Bench led his team to the world cup in a hard group. If De Bench wants to whine about the mourinho brand of football, we can listen because he has earned that right, but not Hazard. Hazard has proven nothing.

A guy gets a hat trick against a terrible toon side and hes the second coming of christ  

Schürrle almost has as many goals as Hazard during his first season in the league, and done this while putting in a defensive shift, working in a much more defensive team, having to take on the role as striker(de facto) in many cases, not getting the penalty kicks when Lampard is benched, and getting dragged out the team regularly. Difference is he does not have the marketing machine behind him.

A player doesn't need 5 star performances every game. Just because they don't give 5 star performances every game, doesn't mean they're inconsistent.

Is this seriously coming from the biggest Riquelme fan on the board? If there ever was a player known for only performing against top teams it's him

but riquelme still play like top form xavi against lesser team which mean still can be considered as consistent

he was not disappear despite look not interested enough in the match

Riquelme just doesn't have the work rate he use to. Still a good player, though. His Technique is eternal.
