the problem with bringing someone now is that when Laporta wins the elections in July, he will clean up house and kick everybody out to bring in his people.

So you are essentially offering a 6 month coaching term to someone, with ego and pride (god knows u need some to manage barca).

1- He is not happy at the moment with LE, they have no relationship aka LE gotta gtfo

2- He wants changes in the organization of the first team

3-If in June they haven't listened to his conditions, he is gone

i would sayi it not Messi rather the transfer ban is messing up everything for Barca. all party more or less would be happy now to sell Messi, i guess. Fans also got treated by him enough. but with the transfer ban you cant think of that kind of business right now. so the board has to listen him if he has any demands.

he wont get sacked, he'll resign maybe even on Monday

IIRC futbol can rightfully call himself Lurcho's 2nd biggest supporter on here.

He lobbied hard for his appointment, making long posts why he is the right choice, then backed down for a bit when Lurcho was being shot at from all cylinders in the first half of his first season (Barca fans ) and adopted a "hey I'm only joking anyway" stance.

He then went into a brief "coachessi" phase in January when it was fashionable (you guys remember that? Barca fans calling for Enriques head really hard early January 2015, then propagating the notion that Messi has taken over deciding tactics and that's for the better when results improved Barca fans ), but since has returned to defending and praising Lurcho.

With regards to Lurcho, futbol's surely the one here who can be most proud of his record.
