I dont think he would leave unless told to first. And I dont think Laporta would tell him to leave yet either. I know he didnt choose the guy, but he just won the treble..I think Laporta will have common sense.

Plus I truly believe Pep isnt leaving this year and if he did (next year) I truly believe it wouldnt be to come to Barca.

I think he saw the "mistake" of Van Gaal, coming back a second time. And I think it would be a mistake to come back, at the very least not untill the team is totally different and he is working with a completely different set of players.

Yep. I read somewhere that he already started preparing for next season. It'd be foolish to let go of him at this point.

I hope the results and performances keep improving so he can get renewed for more years. I hate changing managers every season.

Xavi actually gives a very slight hint about this in his farewell press conference but there isn't much information and beyond that it is open to speculation from us.

Yes there was a time when he was called inferior to David Moyes. Also often on this forum he was called Scrubrique. Yes a few important changes led to such a complete transformation but if I had to pick the one I consider top of the list it is the way Luis Suarez was blended into the team and allowed to play through the center.

Well said. Agree completely. Pep coming back now will do him no favors. He needs to either achieve the highest success at a different club or with a completely different generation of Barca with Messi no longer at his disposal.

From what I understand boards, good or bad, are largely about politics and having their own men. So I don't think if the present management stays they would for a second want him to go. If anything they would like to claim that if Laporta found Pep then they found Luis. Instead if Laporta comes back then Luis may not be around. Laporta will not directly ask him to leave as mentioned in an earlier post on this thread but the hint in the air could be about wanting your own man.
