I am fairly confident he can play with Iniesta. He may have waken people to his ability by scoring goals and getting assists, however what stood out more to me was his ability on the ball, playing passes, receiving under pressure to add to his dynamism and general energy.

26, in his prime, i'd be satisfied and quite hopeful for him to do well.

Anyway he's a better fit than Cesc which is what matters even if Cesc maybe a better player.

Barca offered higher wages it seems. 8 mill euros is definitely over the top wage for him..that is how it works in this competitive market though.

Barca offered higher wages..8 mill a year which is more than Di Maria earns here so yeah kind of understandable since we are not desperate and dont really want to break the wage structure.

When did the Schalke flop become so good? I'm looking forward to see him, but I kinda feel for him aswell, Barca fans will slate him for not being Xavi or Iniesta after a few months.

Wouldn't you prefer Modric? I like Rakitic more but it seems to me that Modric fits the profile of the kind of footballer we're looking for better.

Croatia with dat goat midfield of Modric, Rakitic and Kovacic. Get the upset against Brazil pls :pray:
