Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is having a medical ahead of a proposed move to Manchester United for a fee in excess of £25m.

Wilson is still pretty much a work in progress. A loan out is right now the best thing for him. He needs game time now more than anything I kind of feel. May be even half a season loan could do. He has the tools to succeed here. But not right now. Dont think he should be put as even the 3rd choice let alone 2nd.
Those newly promoted clubs, they could need a striker or 2. Offer him to them please.

I too thought along the same lines. Austin or Berahino. But then on second thought theres this feeling that because we already have wilson, i doubt it would be someone like those 2.
If we buy someone, that player would be an upgrade to all our options.

Have papers written much about us and Lacazette ? Perhaps lvg only saw/heard them linking us with Muller, Kane, Ronaldo, Cavani and the likes.

How about Morata from Juve btw ? Ticks all the boxes imo, not linked to us. Young, and bags of potential and should be willing to play in rotation.
Only problem is the fact that juve have let go of tevez, eventhough they have signed 2 strikers already in mandzukic and dybala. They will surely play hardball.

Considering how important Morata was for Juventus last season, I can't see them letting him go that easy. I even believe the Spanish guy doesn't want to leave.

For me, Morata is a no chance. They bought two strikers, but they play 3-5-2 and having depth in the attack is important. They'll need players to rotate or fatigue will overwhelm them.

You do know Real can buy him back for something like 25 mil right ??
The depth of the team, 2 striker formation and everything will take the backseat in such a situation if real come for him. So because of such a scenario being in place, juve will always be prepared.

Having said that if it is any other club, they will have to break a lot of sweat I agree.
But its not impossible at all.
