Maybe his progression is that he was not favoured or enjoying his role at Manchester and now he will go with a new opportunity.

Also, living in Paris versus living in Manchester could be a factor

And team for team, I think you would be hard pressed to say there is much between Paris and Manchester United at the present time

di maria got forced to manu.

di maria then waste a season in the prem.

di maria is now going to his first choice after 1 season.

now tell me he didn't used manu as a stepping stone or checkpoint to go to psg, its as simple as that and you know it.

manu having money or history has nothing to do with the situation, di maria just wanted to go to psg, bad transfer end of the day nothing to do with flopping or anything.

Di Maria wanted out of Madrid

PSG were hand strung from FFP

Di Maria had to leave Madrid so he went to United to hold him over a year for PSG to get there books in order and hope they come back in for him.

it's not about PSG being bigger then United it's Di Maria just using United to eventually get the move he wanted to Paris.

doesn't mean PSG are a "bigger" club, it's just a player had a preferred destination and used Manchester to get away from Madrid until he could go to Paris.

it's more like a layover

it's shitty because we backed Di Maria from the moment he arrived, but if he don't want to be here and can't appreciate the support he got then see ya later, the not getting on the flight shit shows his character.

makes me respect De Gea so much more how he's handled the Madrid crap. He has respect for the Club and fans.

I think his wife had a big influence on him leaving. That said he wanted PSG in the first place and now with the FFP lifted he can finally go there

At the moment PSG are more appealing and better than United. But I would have wanted him to stay just so that I don't have to watch that poverty league

I think man u are being smart by selling di maria to psg. as it stands now they can get good money for him and only lose a few mil. if they hold on to him for another year and he has another poor season then that price drops right off. plus psg might not want him next season.

Van Gaal is not easy to play for... he doesn't allow players to ease their way into form. He manages with a hammer, which can work great or explode. I don't think his way of managing players works in today's football btw. Even Mourinho is a much nicer guy than Van Gaal Laughing
