Oh Essien, how I hate this guy. I really tried to like his smile and positive groove when entering matches, but EVERYTHING he does is bad, and he cant even win a single duel. Wasnt this man supposedly one of the toughest PL player at some point?

Perhaps he declined fast when hitting 45 years of age (real age)

Apparently Roma fans don't rate Cole and would prefer they kept Dodo. Didn't know he was playing that bad wow.

i agree Roma had the best transfer market in Serie A. I have a feeling that Manolas is going to be a better CB than Benatia.
I was very disappointed to see Dodo go because personally i think he is current best young left back, I dare to say Dodo is better than De sciglio..

Iturbe looks promising, Ashley cole is alright. and they also have bought some good backups like Keita because of the european commitments. I am so glad, above all they have managed to keep Pjanic cause he is one of the best midfielders in the world.

Juve didnt do bad either, the young talents like french kid, and Romulo, Moratta is a very good signing indeed.

I am disappointed to loose cristante but for me the biggest disappointment is that we didnt get rid of muntari bonera and esssien and zaccardo. i dont see any point of keeping all of those guys

I think Dodo is currently the best young LB in serie a and I was very surprised they got rid of him...

indeed Dodò was bought from Inter, we will pay only since 2016 but he's bought
I appreciated his signing, for the rest...

we haven't got back Rolando, when he was our best defender by a mile. maybe we didn't want to create problems to Ranocchia, current captain ( from Zanetti to Ranocchia..) , who lost the place for the Portoguese last year...

we have just 3 CFs , and Palacio is injured since June not even made the training camp this year and noone knows when he will be back

besides sold Alvarez, the only SS, and not replaced.

not even bought Bonaventura today , who could be a good replacement and anyway an useful player in this team, because we can' t spend even 5 mln . What a declin

so much pessimist after these days that I don't know if we will be good even to get the 6th place trophy for the EL..

atm Papu Gomez is the most happy person in the world after RG to have seen Kate Upton 's icloud pics

Papu passed months to cry because he wanted to return in Itlaly, repented to have signed in Ukrainan, scrub league and besides a country in war ... He would have accepted also to reduce his salary .  Finally he banished the nightmare
Very good signing for Atalanta, he's a difference maker for small  Serie A  teams

Unfortunately we missed out on Biabiany because Zaccardo refused to go the other way (to Parma). Fortunately, we got a better player in Bonaventura, who will make sure that Essien never sees the field again.

Still, seeing Cristante sold while Essien collects his retirement fund pisses me off

Milan had the best overall Mercato IMO.

I think the Bonaventura signing sealed it.

Balotelli has been a cancer to every team he's graced with his presence. Not gutted at all that he's gone. Torres will do fine.

so you're telling me, the clubs agreed, biabiany agrees, they take a pic with biabiany..... and then they just kinda tell zaccardo oh hey by the way you're going to Parma?
F that, even if he wanted to go LOL it's kinda rude for them to just assume and start taking pics and crap

I think it'll slightly be better next season imo.Lets not forget the top teams aside from Roma havent sold their best players so its no surprise to see that graphic.

Also the increased domestic TV deal from next season as well as the CL TV deal with Mediaset should also help on the transfer market front i suppose.

That's all good mate but it wont make any big difference in my opinion.

If they do not decide to make drastic changes to the league, Serie A has no hope.

I've tried to do realistic line-ups based on what has happened in pre-season and in the Lazio game. I do think Rami is better than Zapata and I do think Armero is a better WB than Bonera. However, it is clear from the Lazio game that Zapata and Bonera were preferred by Inzaghi. Montolivo is definitely better than van Ginkel though. I don't expect van Ginkel to displace Montolivo in the starting XI once Montolivo returns from injury.

I'm so glad we got Bonaventura. Not that Biabiany is a bad player, but we needed a central midfielder more.

I haven't seen enough of Bonaventura to make on opinion about him.

But he has provinciale written all over him, from his own last name to the team he played with FFS.
