tbh mate I know we all hate to lose. but I think this is a good thing. do we realy want to be playing these games right now. we have picked up in the lge. and are in the mix for top 4. more of these Thursday night games around Europe will just tire us out even more. we have a good draw in the FA cup. and a good chance of 4th. I think tomorrow we will all forget about this.

Yeah, that's bad. Sturridge looked unfit after 60 minutes, that's the only reason I can think of for his lack of movement up front. I also wonder should Can start against City, he's played all our games for quite some time now.

He bottled it with the subs. Balotelli was the only one of our attacking trio who looked like he could do something on the ball in attack while Sterling and Sturridge were obviously having awful games. He should have taken those two off, but instead he made the easy substitutions, taking the out-of-Brendan's-favour Balotelli and the youngster Ibe off. And we were awful for so long in this game that he should have made tactical changes, too, instead of just like-for-like substitutions.

Sturridge was ultra bad this game. It's as if he and Sterling were trying to out-do each other in who could play worse.

BAH GAWD the ref just called Feyenoord-Roma off.

I have no idea why

Edit: I think the game's just suspended. Still not sure why though.

I agree on balo. tbh I don't think Rodgers likes him. and I defo think Rodgers didn't want to sign him.

Feyenord - Roma suspended

SMH ROma v Feye called off for either racism or something. A banana was thrown on the pitch. Racist chants and religious chants apparently as well.

sturridge was taking to many touches. holding the ball to long. and not getting shots off early. I know he needs match fitness. but he has to play the ball far quicker.

CL is meh till semis in any case.

You have to give credit to Torino, Ventura has tinkered very well over the last few weeks. Been having good results and very effective. Maxi Lopez has been an excellent acquisition. They have been clinical tonight!
