Very good news, that was a complete mess when BR was trying to fit allof Studge, Sterling, Coutinho and Lallana in the sane team. The tean will be more balanced now.

In all honesty though, I can't even be arsed with Sturridge anymore. Really can't rely on him. He's a luxury player. We should really build our squad thinking of him as a second choice ST and not a starter, meaning we need a marquee striker like Mr-69 said.

JP says Sakho's out for 3 weeks. Balotelli was sick, So he's back as well.

Jordan Ibe should make the bench against Newcastle.

No idea about Enrique, Lallana and Flano.

Sakho being out for 3-4 weeks is a blow, the drop in confidence I have from him and Skrtel to all other CB options is like going from German car engineering to French car engineering.

Yet another youngster who looked to be on the verge of a make-or-break period in his Anfield career (Pelosi, Yesil, etc before him) now facling massive time off due to shock injury. We seem to have had particularly terrible luck with such instances in recent years.

Sucks. Although if he was in the squad next season he'd probably be behind Markovic, who himself is on the bench nowadays, so I don't know does his injury mean anything to Liverpool, but sucks for him big time, he was just starting to get his career going.

Just when I mentioned him in the QPR match thread :facepalm:

Unbelievably bad luck on Flanagan to be sidelined for 1.5 years right when you started building yourself a bit of a career. I can't be the only one thinking our medical people should have done better, he's already had one surgery on it and he hasn't even broken any bones or anything. Incredible that he's missing 1.5 years because of this.

Sturridge off to the US to visit a specialist who will determine if he needs surgery for his hip injury. Guess he's not playing again this season.

Feel for Flanagan.

Won't be surprised if Sturridge is done. 8 injuries on the same leg and now his hips are playing up? Worrying. Very worrying.
