Those guys are freaking crazy. I know it's a make or break time for Senegal (they can actually seal WC berth with a win), but playing during recovery period is just insane.

Clyne and Moreno are back.

Clyne, Lallana, Matip and now Ox out for the season. We have a total of 3 midfielders fighting for a total of 3 places now.

Meanwhile, Sadio Mane has sparked injury fears after he was seen attending the Spire Hospital in Liverpool.
The forward was there for around half an hour, report the Mail, though the club has not released any information regarding an injury.

If he makes the start of next season, That's sweet. But we need to remember what happened with Flano and Ings and not rush him. Can't allow to miss 1.5 years of football ffs

Jürgen Klopp expects Sadio Mane to be available for Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg against AS Roma.
The Liverpool forward missed Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Stoke City after sustaining an injury this week but should be fit for the trip to Italy.
“Sadio did not play but he will be fine for Wednesday,” said Klopp immediately after the goalless draw with the Potters at Anfield.

Re: Liverpool Injury Thread
Liverpool’s backroom staff will be one man light for the remainder of the season, with assistant Zeljko Buvac leaving his role.Liverpool insist Buvac remains a club employee and that he has left for “personal reasons” but the timing is extraordinary and concerning ahead of a huge week for the club.
There’s also the wider question of Buvac’s long-term future to consider, with the suggestion still prevalent that he will not return in the summer.
Liverpool play Roma in the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, before a crucial Premier League match at Chelsea over the weekend which could define their top-four challenge.
Buvac has been Jurgen Klopp‘s assistant since 2001, when the duo were at Mainz, and has been referred to as the “brain” of the coaching setup by the Reds’ boss.
The club say Buvac will miss the remainder of the 2017/18 campaign due to “personal reasons,” but he remains an employee of the club and has not quit his post.

That was such amusing news to read on the BBC's main site. As if he was a big miss to either. TAA has been looking like a proper full-back, unlike Gomez. I'd go as far as saying Gomez needs to find a miracle to have long-term Liverpool future. He's just not showcasing anything special.

Re: Liverpool Injury Thread
We basically have just Moreno/Klavan for defense. No one for midfield and Ings/Solanke for attack who can't do anything.
Amazing depth.

Re: Liverpool Injury Thread
I would like Gomez to go out on lone as a CB for a season. That’s where I think is future is.

Don't really need depth at this stage, with two games to go. A fit Lallana would be good to come off the bench in the CL final, but I'm kinda downbeat about him after this season.
It would take an amazing loan season for him to become a recurring player in the line-up, imo. He just looks to me like someone who bloomed early and hasn't really developed since. But I agree that he probably should be playing CB instead of full-back. He's just not good enough on the ball to be a full-back in the Prem.@Unique wrote:I would like Gomez to go out on lone as a CB for a season. That’s where I think is future is.

Re: Liverpool Injury Thread
Mohamed Salah scored directly from a corner for Egypt on Friday night, then limped off with a muscle injury in the final stages of their match against Swaziland.
Egypt play in Swaziland on Tuesday in another Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and it’s reported that the national team consider it unlikely he will be fit to play in that fixture.
