Ligue 1 Discussion 14/15

Problem with OM is that we have a lot of deadweight wages...  tons of guys who we pay and that are either bad or out on loan.  We have player wages of about 80-85 mil for the season  

That's Lebrune's awful management right there...  Here are our wages over a mil:
-  Gignac - 4 mil
-  Andre Ayew - 3,8 mil
-  Mandanda - 3,6 mil
-  Payet - 3 mil
-  Amalfitano (out on loan) - 2,5 mil
-  Cheyrou (sent to youth team) - 2,4 mil
-  Nkoulou - 2,4 mil
-  Thauvin - 1,8 mil
-  Alessandrini - 1,8 mil
-  Batshuayi - 1,6 mil
-  Fanni - 1,4 mil
-  Imbula - 1,2 mil
-  Morel, Romao and Kadir (out on loan) - 1,1 mil each

Then we have over 10 guys that make between 800k - 1 mil.  Just dumb.

how good are metz this season tho ?

We're so fun to watch now... total football. Never thought i'd see the day again at OM

So PSG are missing Silva, Luiz and Marquinhos for this weekend (who's going to play CB ).....  not to mention Lavezzi, Digne and Ibra.

We're looking at a back 4 of VDW-Motta-Camara-Maxwell  I know Lens is shat.  But they actually have a chance here

Bigger issue is CL coming up. They need some of these guys back.

Next week is the test...  OM-Lyon at Lyon.  Personally, i think Lyon's defensive back 4 is pretty poor and that's where Bielsa pressures.  He forces the back 4 to make quick and precise decisions with the ball under pressure.

Like Toulouse today...  Toulouse attack narrow and have a hard time going wide.  So Bielsa played a 3331 and put Dja DjeDje in the midfield.  Completely neutralized Toulouse until they made adjustments in the second half (Toulouse mids started going wide). So when Toulouse back 4 were looking to pass out, there was nothing. They kept turning the ball over.

Fournier is too green to match Bielsa imo.

How much is good Saint-Etienne ? can someone comparing it to some italian club? And anyway ... what can you say me about them ? Game , main players.... Our next opponent in Europa League

i'll try to be as objective as possible

they're A CRAP team . they can't play football at all their main attacking players are severely lacking in technique . hamouma and erding make gervinho look like the best finisher in the world .

their games consist of parking the bus and monnet-paquet blindly crossing into an empty space in the hope that the ball might hit someone and go in .

their coach , Galtier , should be praised for always getting these scrubs a top 6 finish .

loic perrin is their emblematic player .

So I suppose it will be an awful match worthy of " don't try this at home" considering also the Mazzarri's " game "

on the other hand Moyes will be at stadium , he can be just interested to this show.

We played against Monaco, Nantes, Guingamp, Lione, Strasburgo, Sochaux, O.Marseille , Lille in these year but never against Saint Etienne , it's first time.

In this regard I was sincerely sorry about elimination of  Lyon in this Europa League play off from an unkown team I would have liked to play against OL again , it reminds me my first trophy seen as fan , the  Uefa Cup 1998 and  those both 2 epic matches   , we were going to meet again in Uefa Cup 2012  if that pos of Dembelè didn't score in last minute  ffs  
I 'm glad to watch that Lione is getting better now, my favourite French team   .
