FIFA gonna be a 1 month rental at this rate
Everything I seen leads me to believe the same thing. FIFA gone full out arcade-fun while PES trying to actually do this realistic football thing. I think ill appreciate the effort.

One week for me
Doubt I'll play it much once 2K15 comes out, but my copy of FIFA came as part of my PS4 bundle so I'm ok with it.

Don't see why not, at least I haven't heard anything that suggests it won't.

Re: PES 15
Im not sure exactly the reason, but in FIFA you can get from winning the ball in defence to getting 1 v 1 in 2-4 passes WAY too often.
Think about a real match, how often do players counter attack so effectively? Maybe 3-4 times a game at best?
Maybe its because the passing over distance is too accurate, perhaps because you can play 1-2 touch football with too many ease, maybe because the defence are out of position too easily..I dunno the reason but it seems too often.
To me, PES looks like it requires alot more thought.

Re: PES 15
Any random player can make accurate passes over any distance on FIFA. Also players glide across the pitch and have an extra burst of pace in the movement, which makes it more arcadey and makes midfield play pointless.
The movement and control of the players on PES is much more realistic.

Re: PES 15
Dani pls.
Only takes one pass to go from Manalos to Totti lmao.
I did that countless times yesterday, the other thing is the pace of the players. Every Chelsea player is a speed merchant lol.
Aubameyang got outpaced by Felipe Luis

Re: PES 15
I think the problem with pace I see is, for example Aubameyang is rated a certain speed (lets say his speed is 93) and when he has the ball it takes into account ball control which slows him down depending on how good that rating is.
Thats fine, it should be like that to some degree. But the problem is, lets say it slows him down to an imaginary speed of 86. Now, if there is a defender who is more strength than him and has 86 sprint speed Aubuymang cant just outrun him.
When in fact, in RL he would just be able to knock the ball out in front and breeze him. If you use "strength" to stop him when the ball is out in front, thats a foul.
FIFA doesnt do a good job of understanding this scenario in my opinion.

Only thing that I don't really like is the shooting. It looks a bit weird imo. Feels like an arcade shot. FIFA's shooting animations are better.

Re: PES 15
I really like the shooting personally, ball flies through the air as it should and not the floaty crap it was.
I just wish the advanced shooting didn't have a delay when trying to shoot as it's much better than Basic overall.
For example this goal is impossible on basic (ps3 version)

Averaging 90% possession a game on PES. 5-10% more than FIFA.

This year I dont know, but last year and the year before I agree. Some of the shot techniques were especially bad.
I mean, people trying to curl it in the wrong positions and the direction, spin and speed of the ball wasnt right when you consider the angle and type of shot which was being taken.

Re: PES 15
I definitely agree with previous years it was awful IMO.
It's much improved this year though IMO, it could with some more animations granted but I think the most important thing is it flies through the air as it should with some oomph if you are looking for power.
In previous iterations it floated through the air like a balloon and made long shots almost impossible.

Regarding the modding of PS4, so far sony has not responded to Konami's request about adding the option to share files which is available on the PS3. Konami is still negotiating with Sony.

Re: PES 15
I finally learned how to play the game well, and wow it is amazing now. After 20+ games, you start to feel the differences between each and every player and between the teams as well. Unlike previous editions, the player ID is not just about the body movement of the players, it is also about their decision making and their ability to follow the tactics of their team.
