I'd expect the same scenario just more expensive. Maybe 6m with 10m option to buy

So with Ogden reporting from the source it's more or less official now that Utd pay Falcao 346000£ a week.

I repeat: 346k a week

If I'm not mistaken that is double of what your top earner Özil gets.

You really do not want to go down that route.

To be perfectly clear: It is not a bad, nor a debatable, but a completely right and good decision by Wenger not to sign Falcao.
So that's actually a POSITIVE, not a NEGATIVE today.

Don't tell me you disagree with that and you want a guy earning 18m *bleep* £ a year on your wage bill.

So please.

Seriously that just doesn't work. That would affect EVERY future contract negotiation with you players, let alone that it's simply TOO MUCH money to pay a player.

I agree with Hans. The main reason Arsenal fans have been so irate about Falcao is because of our own failure in the market, not that we would logically think Falcao deserves to be paid that much more than Sanogo.
