I'd take Milner on a free, that's a no-brainer unless there is some 100% legit, expensive, in-his-prime holding midfielder targeted instead. Milner is an elite utility player. Could still do a job on either wing or work as one of the deeper midfielders. I think he'd be a great candidate to shift into more of a DM role as he nears 30.

Any name that comes out of Serie A, I'm skeptical. The league is so poor and behind, it's hard to think how they would do it in other leagues. Will take Nastasic, Milner and Reid, that's solid cover for our defensive problem.
