Starting to feel sorry for Eddie, to be honest.
- Spoiler:
-G/f clearly has feelings for another guy and actively shows it (unintentionally) in front of him.
-Guy has admitted having feelings for her.
-Has to lie to his g/f (nearly ruining their relationship) about the Flash's identity.
-Faced the very real possibility of the end of his life as he knew it when framed for murder.
-Asks for permission to marry Iris, father refuses.
-Plan to propose anyway, interrupted by supervillain you've been hunting for weeks (if not longer) who then kidnaps .
-G/f finds out secret identity anyway.
-Find out the villain you've been helping to chase all along is really your descendant.
-Eddie: "This whole thing has been about me..." > Eobard: "Not a chance. You, my friend, are simply my insurance."
Rejected and shot down at every turn.
Almost enough to make someone a bit Blue...?

Agreed. This episode is the best one so far. CW keep outdoing themselves with the flash series

I think Iris knew with the way Flash was taking to her at the bridge. He used the same dialogues Barry would.
Agreed with red on Eddie tbh. Guess this starts the eternal rivalry between two families.

Why is Gideon helping reverse flash though ffs. She should know he is Barry's arch nemesis.
Also I always used to think that 2024 was like 40 years into the future or something. But it's actually 9 years only.
9 years is enough time for more DC super hero shows and get a Justice league crossover against Vandal Savage

Don't know about Batman and Superman in it though.

Nightwing would be great, supergirl is she in the universe? It's CBS right? They own 50% of CW I think, so maybe she could be, but I haven't heard anything

Yeah it's Wonder Woman. Few years ago development of the cancelled Wonder Woman TV series The Amazon picked up again but WB said hands off. No Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

I've been wondering how it could be only 9 years into the future yet by that time Eobard Thawne hasn't been born
unless that newspaper article is just for the near future and Eobard is (more accurately) from a more distant future.
