Jese is back
Jesé Rodríguez is back on the ball. The Spaniard laced up his boots and stepped out onto the pitch at Valdebebas, as he looks ahead to making a full return to training. He has been working hard to make his long-awaited comeback, which is scheduled for about two months' time, towards the end of October or the beginning of November.
The striker is currently in the early stages of his return to the pitch. He is undertaking low-intensity exercises such as short passing and jogging to see how his right knee responds following the surgery he had five and a half months ago in Germany on the injury to his anterior cruciate ligament.
However, getting out of the gym, the physio's treatment room, the swimming pool and stepping out on the training ground is a huge step forward for Jesé as he works on returning to full training with his teammates.
Carlo Ancelotti is keeping a watchful eye on the starlet. He made it very clear last season that Jesé was key to his plans, something illustrated by how much playing time he was getting just before his injury. The club are also following his recovery keenly. The reports that are arriving at the Bernabéu are positive. In fact, the youngster's presence was so instrumental in designing the squad this season that the club chose not to bring in a big-name striker that might impede his progress.

Jese's competing with Bale and Ronaldo and I doubt he's going to bench either.

Can't see Carlo start Jese upfront after getting Chica, but it's possible.

In Spain it's said that Carlo refused Falcao because of Jese.

Re: Jese is back
Jese won't bench anyone of them but we all know how demanding the fans are so if Bale/Benz/James underperform the fans are going to sing Jese's name and Carlo is obviously going to be forced to use him and we all know what Jese is capable of with the little time he gets
BTW the only reason he signed the extension last season was because the club had promised him a lot of time on the pitch

Re: Jese is back
Great news. Hope he recovers fully, gets back to playing soon in order to get some match experience and improve his form in time for his 2015 switch to FC Bayern "Buyern" München.

That's not true. Carlo refused falcao because of benzema, not jese. Jese's position wasn't even taken into account in the equation..here's the proof..minute 01:00, carlo wanted a striker, but someone who'll be happy to be a nos 2 and not a starting superstar striker

Re: Jese is back
Yeah i really don't see where Jese is going to play. You have Chicha backing up Benz and Isco to cover when Bale is out of the lineup. Where does that leave Jese?
We have some scrub CDR games coming up. I'd rest CR and Benz in those and give Jese and Chicha a run. It will keep them sharp at least.

Re: Jese is back
Hopefully that scrub Chicharito won't see anymore minutes. That guy is an awful footballer.
So in my vision we'll have Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, James, Isco, Jese for 4 positions. Ronaldo will play every game so 5 players for 3 spots.

Re: Jese is back
lol Chicharito is going to get frozen out, at least that is what should happen when Jese gets back.
Jese should be Benzema and Ronaldo's deputy like he was last year. regular sub appearances and a few starts here and there should be more than enough considering he's coming back from a serious injury.

Re: Jese is back
Jese has a good while to go before Carlo is gonna consider him for 1st team action (as a starter or sub). I think we all know this to be true.

Re: Jese is back
We'll be playing some scrubs in the copa and league in the coming months. I can see Jese getting some minutes.
He should be eased back in any case. Just outright playing him would be reckless.

Re: Jese is back
Carlo Ancelotti says Real Madrid will not make any signings in the January transfer window.
The European champions had a busy summer, bringing in James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas, while Javier Hernandez joined on loan from Manchester United.
The Madrid boss says he has no plans to add to his squad again in January, insisting that the long-awaited return of Jese Rodriguez next month is the only player who will resemble a new signing.
"Jese is our winter signing," he said on Al Primer Toque. "He could play in the next month."
