Re: What are your expectations?
I know 5 points advantage at this point means nothing. But looking at our fixture I am sure we will make this advantage look greater.
The start of this season is reminding me of Jose's second season with Madrid.

We play the same 38 fixtures over the course of the 9 months as everyone else, in case you weren't aware

An injury-prone Costa won it for Atleti.

Re: What are your expectations?
And 'Toure-dependent' City won it 2 of the last 3 seasons...

Re: What are your expectations?
Relatively difficult part of our fixure:
Sep 27 Villa (h)
Sep 30 Sporting (a)
Oct 5 Arsenal (h)
Oct 26 Utd (a)
Nov 5 maribor (a)
Nov 8 Liverpool (a)
Nov 25 Schalke (a)
Nov 29 Sunderland (a)
Dec 3 Tottenham (h)
Dec 6 Newcastle (a)
Dec 10 Sporting (h)
We have a relatively easier fixture this season. Should take advantage of it.

Re: What are your expectations?
City are in a difficult CL group and will have to travel a lot. this should help us.

Re: What are your expectations?
I am confident we will have a significant points advantage over our rivals before the end of this year. And that's already half of the season done. And be sure of Mou. He won't ever let us choke this time.

Re: What are your expectations?
I'm of the opinion that it all evens out over the course of the season. You many be going through an easy period of fixtures while your rivals is in the middle of a difficult one, but at some point, they're going to be the ones in an easy run while you'll have a string of challenging games to contend with.

City's December fixtures:
Sunderland, Everton, Roma, Leicester, Palace, WestBrom, Burnley.
Not an easy one.

Re: What are your expectations?
What about our Boxing Day–February fixtures?
West Ham (H) - Southampton (A) - Tottenham (A) - Newcastle (H) - Swansea (A) - City (H)
What do you have to say about that?

Re: What are your expectations?
West Ham (H) - No worry. Easy match.
Two away matches against Southampton and Tottenham in 4 days are not easy matches, I admit.
Newcastle at home wont be a difficult match.
We will have a week to rest before Swansea away. So we should be able to deal that easily.
But the most difficult will be the match against City, especially after the international break. Lucky for us it is a home match.

Re: What are your expectations?
I can't imagine so.
I certainly haven't and don't think any staff member would have.
Perhaps it didn't send properly?

Re: What are your expectations?
As promised, a bump.
Being just a few weeks shy of 3 months into the campaign now, and having seen us take shape and City take shape and all the other prospective contenders when the season began take shape, I can say now, at last, that we really ought to be winning this title this season. Liverpool are in freefall, Arse are Arse, United appear to have improved slightly but still remain to be blowing hot and cold, and, even if they do begin to further steady the ship and start leaning it more on the 'hot' side of things, it's likely to be too little, too late, or both, to challenge for top spot. City, the chiefest challenger in my and many others' mind before a ball was kicked and the only serious remaining competitor for it besides ourselves for me, have been mediocre at best thus far, and are only looking like getting worse rather than better. Without a hint of either disrespect to anyone else or entitlement respecting our own prospects, I'd have to say now that with the squad we have, and the manager it's headed by, to not win it come May, for me, would be a failure.

And we haven't depended too much on injury-prone Costa so far? One injury to him and then what?
Shed, we haven't done that bad without him. Right?
