Yeah well, Neuer is fantastic of course, but it wouldn't make that much sense to give him 2nd behind Ronaldo, except to honour someone from the WC winning team that is, and won't happen.
Lahm could be mentioned too.

But I think Robben deserves to be in the top 3 definitively this year.

I'm actually curious to see whether Messi would be second or not. I'm not so sure right now as Robben has been great and most voters choose their friend as 2nd.

Anyway, let's ignore this and move on, the thing about Robben is that he was sole standout player of a strong WC team, and always scores the important goals for us, like the 1:0 in the cup final.

In earlier years his injury misses were such that he wasn't really in contention, this year he really should be honoured with a top 3 spot. I think that is uncontroversial tbh.
