So you do believe that Diego and Kiessling were the 5th and 6th best players in the world last year?
LMAO

Who'm I or you to argue against hundreds of different statistics, recorder for every player, every second? Watching couple games a week, and the casual fan is highly affected by the bias and media hype, not by the actual reality.chad4401 wrote:i know your not serious come on man, im starting to get worried

common sense and rational thinking says that reaching this conclusion alone disqualifies that particular statistics aggregator from being taken serious tbh

I might add that basic factchecking scrutiny disqualifies whoscored as well, as the recent Messi and Alba turnover incidents demonstrate

Most surprising in this have to be Benzema's output, and Neymar's lack of assists.Harmonica wrote:Added Müller

You can keep posting these stats but they don't lend any credence to your cause. Messi will not win the Ballon D'or unless he has a ridiculously successful November/December or Ronaldo falls off the face of the earth.
I would take Robben before Messi even.

You can keep harping about them, but that doesn't make them any less rational and truthful arguments for Ballon d'Or.El Cujo wrote:You can keep posting these stats but they don't lend any credence to your cause. Re: The Official Balon d'Or 2014 Thread
To argue against cr7 at this point is just ignorant at best, much more removing him from top 3..making your customized list questionable. Why don't u bring up all games that where played too in relation to goals scored? Or what kind of list ignores games played? So if one has 68 goals+assists in 200 games, does it make him better than one with 60 goals + assists in 60 games by your logic? While being the overall better player than cr7, messi isn't the best player in the world today.if it happened for messi in 2010, it should definitely happen for cr7 in 2014..messi gets a top 3 at best, end of story.

I'm curious to know, what would be the world XI right now according to your stats?

Now that one I can understand. You really think Suarez would possibly get the BALLON D'OR after biting a guy and getting a four month ban?

The list is only a farce if Costa, Hazard or Courtois doesn't win it

It's actually a good list for once... can't really disagree with any of the guys there. You're always going to feel like a few got snubbed. But then again, you'd need to snub some on the list to get the snubbed ones on
