In all seriousness, I share RWOs sentiment that Keller was unjustly sacked, but now they should've stuck with RdM simply because they need continuity. I still maintain they should've kept Stevens in his last bout with them.

Naw, RDM needed to go as he totally ignored Max Meyer and didn't really appear to make any of the players better. Schalke need a young coach with a vision and courage to build on the boys of the Knappenschmiede.

I hope Schalke are made to regret their decision. RDM is love, RDM is life.

Keller is a scrub. Sacking him wasn't the problem. Replacing him with just another scrub was.

But then again Schalke are scrubs and, just to wind rwo up, their youth academy is extremely overrated.

Schalke's U19 are in the final for the German U19 Bundesliga, which will be played tomorrow. .

Yeah well maybe.
I'm still waiting for them to actually produce some top players however.. seems more important than winning youth league titles to me

Well, he obviously wanted to save face and get as much money out of it as possible. Nothing fancy and all of it expected. ^^

Kicker.de has an annual survey where the Bundesliga players are asked whom they consider the best player, best goalie, best coach, best ref - and also worst coach.

RDM made the first place in the "worst coach" category with 30.5% of the votes. (I'm listing bluewin as source as kicker first publishes the survey in the print version and hasn't put it online yet.)

If we're exact it's not called 'best' or 'worst' coach, but 'biggest winner' and 'biggest loser' among coaches, i.e. who gained the most recognition etc during the season.
