January Transfer Window 2015

Transfer window isn't too far away so I thought I'd kick off this thread.

Considering our form at present, I can't imagine we'll be very active in this window, but I do think we'll be after a few players.

Drogba's recent comments suggest he may not be around next season so we may well be in the market for another CF. Kramaric, Talisca, Messi and Icardi have been mentioned as possible replacements. If not, Bamford could well replace him. I believe we'll know a lot more after this transfer window.

In terms of the band of three, I can't imagine we'll make any changes, unless Salah leaves. I personally cannot see this happen, for one, a replacement would have to come in, and the best option would surely be Thorgan Hazard, who is on loan until the end of the season. If we cannot get him back from loan, I think we'll keep Salah as he doesn't play much regardless.
Reus is a name which has been thrown around a lot recently, however, the injury and the fact his low release clause only starts in the summer points towards him staying at Dortmund, at least for now.

I am of the opinion we don't need to make any changes to CM during Jan. Matic and Fabregas are obvious starters and Ramires has been in good form this term. Mikel is unlikely to leave so I cannot see us making any changes.
However, with Khedira entering his last 6 months so I can see us negotiating a pre-contract with him at the very least.

Our defence has been very solid so I don't think we'll make any changes there despite recent Seamus Coleman rumours.

Petr Cech's name comes up as soon as GK transfers come up. I do not see him leaving, just yet. Perhaps in the summer, but not mid season. So I doubt we'll make any changes there either.

I also think a few loans will happen, MVG might return and be loaned elsewhere. Bamford may either be loaned back to Boro or perhaps to an EPL team. Piazon may also be loaned elsewhere as he isn't playing much.

I don't think we'll change the squad, but I don't think we'll go the entire window without signing somebody.

Not for the first team, in general. A youth/loanee player.

Of course, in a perfect January we would offload Shit-lah, but I won't be holding my breath on us finding some poor saps dumb enough to take him.

Clubs would take Salah, for sure. I'd be more worried about a replacement.

As I explained in the OP, a player from within is unlikely, therefore we'd have to buy an AM, which is not desirable. I also do not know who we'd get in as a replacement if we were to buy.
