Aww, pity that. But then, Branimir Hrgota is infinitely frustrating. He scores for fun in DFB-Pokal and Europa League, but he's totally useless in the Bundesliga. :facepalm:

The gap between Messi & Ronaldo went down from 0.49 goals & assists per 90 minutes a month ago to 0.22 now. Ronaldo had only scored twice and had 1 assist in From Jan 6th to Feb 3rd whereas Messi racked up 7 goals and 3 assists in 4 games. If these two have a repeat month Messi will catch up, which I thought would be impossible for this season hmm

What data do you use? Only league and CL?

I liked that everything was in there most... but I've read that it's a problem to sort out assists from transfermarket...

What about Eden Hazard or Olivier Giroud?

No cup competitions? That isn't 14-15, it's league+cl 14-15. It gives unfair advantage to those who get eliminated early in cup to put more effort in other matches. It's kind of pointless without cup competitions. Why don't you use transfermarkt? It isn't that hard to filter out the assists to own penalties.

The reasons were pretty clearly stated in the first page. It would make this too time consuming to check every assist 30+ players have gained. I agree though it does sacrifice breadth for accuracy.

You only need to watch those games, where player scored and assisted. That's like about 5 matches on average per player. It takes fraction of your time invested in this.

Only if you want to count penalties won as assists if you didn't convert them yourself.

I prefer opta but I'd probably include tm data for cup competitions.

So just ran a few numbers, right now CR has a goal or assist every 55.08 minutes compared to Messi's 56.87.

Benz has a goal or assist every 91.81 mins compared to Chicha's 88.0. But Chicha only has about 960 minutes played so a good or bad performance from him would make a big difference.

Will likely update on Thursday due to the EL matches.
