Something finally has gone his way. It has nothing to do with us raising any game against bigger sides. The intensity has been similar all season. It's just that now there's some actual idea behind what we're doing as opposed to the last 4-5 months.

Still though, defense has gotten worst than its ever been under his charge and his absolutely no idea how to make changes with substitutions. Just throwing every forward you have on the bench and hoping they do something is not the answer to coming back form a goal down.

I dont want to be too much of a spoilsport, but that 2nd win in between the 2 league games came against a championship side, am I right ? eventhough a high flying championship side but they got affected by stage fright, which made things somewhat easy for you.

Lets see how much this 'working system' will work against a rigid and well drilled side, or someone quite simply who wont play with fear when they face you.

I think you have your own team's worries mate. You couldn't beat Villa when playing with 12 men against 10. the fluky winning run has well and truly ended. I'm still waiting to see this "philosophy" of LVG. It's exactly like last season but with DDG in much better form.

If anyone is to praise for your league position it must be your new goalkeeping coach

coming from someone who repeatedly taunted us in the last transfer window and mocked us by saying our equals this season were spurs and everton, I feel this reply of yours a tad underwhelming.
I expected at least half a dozen rofls and other smileys accompanying a large post filled with rage.

Anyway good luck with the mods for your next stint in the forum. Wink

And as far as what you have said here is concerned, yea we are 3rd in the league with something like 40+ injuries this season in total, with until then unknown academy graduates becoming regulars at the backline owing to not even having players to fill positions, with wingers playing as full backs. Now of course you wont see that part I know.
Where as you guys with your carefully scouted (the term you yourself used) transfers are languishing at the middle of the table.

Now I agree when you say I should be worried as there were indeed some fluke wins, but mate not even half as much as you lot should be.

The Guardian wrote:Arsenal were outplayed throughout and troubled by Liverpool’s movement while for the second consecutive weekend Rodgers’ side were let down by poor play in both penalty areas. It was unquestionably an eventful match, but it underlined why Liverpool and Arsenal are not involved in this season’s title race – both have consistent problems in terms of organisation.
This is pretty accurate

Matic, once again the difference maker. Best Chelsea player of the season.

Also Chelsea are actually matching Stoke's tactics instead of bitching like we would. Reminds me of how we used to play in the glory days.

Lucky chelsea. Stoke were all over them

Matic has been intercepting some crosses into the box but he has been nowhere to be seen in the midfield. Stoke players just waltz through it like its noone there

Matic is so good. A brick wall in front of that Chelsea defence.

I knew as soon as Terry scored it was game over. This Chelsea side is perfectly suited to counter Stoke's physicality and aerial threat- basically all that stoke rely on.

Bojan has been decent for them, albeit a little wasteful in the final 3rd.

Chelsea are by far the best team in the country. Balanced squad- very good defensively, top midfield and attacking players. Don't seem to get many (or any) injuries and have good depth too. A certainty they'llwin the league.

Honestly I'm not. I picked you lot to win the league before the season started, and seeing the way you dealt with Stoke today ( a very tough team to play against at the Brittania), reaffirmed that you lot will win it.

Watch your tongue son. Liverpool's quite easily the best. We're just missing Sturridge because he's injured etc. Sad

Stoke got into plenty of good positions, but whether it be Arnauto-whatever's send-me-straight-into-space crosses or Diouf's you-have-a-stinky-foot touches they couldn't create any good clear cut chances to beat Courtois.
Such stuff just angers you.
