Gostkowski though. The GOAT kicker.
Defense had an excess timeout so the clock still runs, if I understood it right.

Yeah, it was probably the right call. But that rule needs to be changed. Seems weird the defense can stop the offense from running a fast offense and taking additional time off the clock by faking an injury.
We had so many missed holdings etc.
I really don't care about the loss. It's just the injuries... All our stars are injuried now, not a single healthy one.
And I really can't see how it's not an agenda against us. Unless the refs are just that incompetent. We didn't get a single of those calls all day.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
More testing likely and further updates ahead, but one source just texted this on Gronk's leg injury: "Doesn't appear to be serious."
Season saved if he & Hightower make it to the playoffs.

He needs to be ready. If we're lucky, we can everyone healthy come playoff time. Collins and Danny should be ready next week. Collins is a top 10 linebacker, so he is really important. Our Linebackers were needed in general today, we couldn't stop the run. Also the punt returning was the real killer Still can't believe we lost on shit like that

Talked to others close to it that 87 has been singled out by league to target him on consistent basis for more push offs on him. Singled out

Pretty obvious. 6 OPI so far this season for something that happens on every play. The one today was straight up BS

^He's a Pats analyst though. "talked to someone close to it" is a nice way of validating a statement without anyone being able to question it. It may be true, but I'm gonna be skeptical.
Also check out Belichecks presser if you haven't. He was pissed. Responded to reporters questions with "what do you think?", "Ask the league about that"

I can understand him. The game has become so shady. Also not a fan of how you can't critique referees in sports at all, when it's obvious they're doing their job poorly.
I never seen him be so angry at the sideline before though He was fuming

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
So... the refs who got removed from the Dallas - Washington game because they had bad officiating in a 49ers - Cards game have now been reassigned to refs Pats against Eagles...
Seriously, what is this shit? Can we ever get a break from the league.

Nah he got a finger around the bottom of his mask. I'm not 100% sure because the camera angles weren't good, but it looked like it to me.
Regardless, the Lions
Packers what a comeback.
However I've lost any kind of optimism about post season with this Packers team. We're not much good.

Rodgers dived into his hand imo. Didn't even get grabbed from what I can see from replays.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
I'm not aware of NFL rules, is "diving into his hand" a case where you don't call a facemask?
It was difficult to tell from the angle of the replays. To me, he got a bit of Rodgers mask. I do think it was a close call and I wouldn't be surprised if it were wrong however. Going to enjoy the win regardless

A facemask os grabbing or taking control of the face mask. Lions didn't.

I'm well aware of what it is, I just thought that he had touched the mask. Watching some replays and zoomed in replays today it looks like the wrong call. That being said, I have to call Lions unlucky rather than berate the refs in this case, did that not look like an obvious facemask in real time? To me it certainly did.
Not going to complain though.
On a similar topic, the last three NFL games have been decided on the last play.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Brandon Marshall clutch TD. He's gonna end up with 1300 yards, 12+ TD's, all for a 5th rounder.
After that game, if Dallas wins tomorrow they would be only 1 game out of the division lead, at 4-8

Thanks for the jinx. Not enough though. Seriously special teams has killed us two weeks in a row... absolutely awful.
2 return TDs against them and a pick 6 from Brady Defense didn't see the field for 21 unanswered points
