If these are real comments then honestly no amount of money is worth what these two knobs have taken the club through, two years on the reserves is were we should send this. Look at this from his POV:

His been at the club for 6 years.

His seen Rafa, Hodgson, Kenny sacked and Rodgers hasn't really improved us.
His seen Torres, Mascherano, Gerrard, Suarez, Agger, Carragher etc all leave the club and not been replaced.
His been told to carry the club at 20 years old with Coutinho pretty much.
His had a falling out with Rodgers. (Ben Smith was it? said he'd consider signing a new deal if we had a new manager or something.)

He clearly wants out. He doesn't see a future in Liverpool where it has trophies in it. I'm on his side here. We won't do anything with Rodgers at the club. So why's he going to stick around and been forced to sign a new contract and stick around if he doesn't want to be here?
