Why is Anthony Josua still fighting school kids Laughing

What a monster.

2nd round KO Laughing

I know they are trying to make him step up steadily but I badly want to see if he can actually do this at a higher level. Hope he is not another Price (Highly doubt it).

He's too skilled RG, he'll make the step up don't worry. The only question is Wladimir Klitschko tbh.

Love watching his fights tbh. I know he has a lot in his locker but I hope one of his future match actually reach 10 rounds. I've never seen his defence properly. Think he has KO every single opponent so far

Once Vladimir is gone, he has every chance of dominating the division.

Deontay Wilder will probably stand in his way, but I think he is overrated.

Bryant Jennings, Fury and Povetkin probably will be guys he needs to beat on the way up too.

Do you rate Tyson Fury? Has a great record and some impressive wins. Beat Chisora as well. Probably on a higher level atm since he is fighting the top level guys.

Bit hyped about Klitschko vs Fury for that reason. Quite a bit of trash talking going on both sides.

Not a fan and dont think he can stand up to Klitschko's power or movement. Just a big lump who wont be able to get out of the way. The fact he is 6'9 son of from bare knuckle boxer is the only reason he is where he is.

Wont ever forget.

Well, Canelo just beat Kirkland by Knockout in the 3rd Round.

This is the perfect type of fight casuals will love:
- Barley any Boxing Skills on display from Kirkland
- Canelo literally just teeing off Left Hooks and Right Uppercuts
- 1st round knockdown
- Kirkland gets back up and makes NO adjustments. Laughing
- Basically became a slugfest.
- Kirkland not knowing that defence is a part of the sport.

But, this would be me assuming Casual fans actually watched this fight....... Laughing

Fury punching himself Laughing

Canelo and Kirkland was always going to be a great fight. Easy money on Canelo by KO, Kirkland foolishly departed from Anne Wolf and like Izzy said has no skills or defence, cant fight on the back foot and if he doesnt knock you out he is getting knocked out himself. No chin, defence or trainer = problem

There's no if on that, if Khan doesn't beat Chris I'll gladly suck off mole.

I still want to know what the reasoning behind Kirkland ditching Wolfe is, the poor woman was even on 24/7.

Some of the blow Canelo landed were just savage.

Cotto doesnt want this. He is my guy and he wouldnt duck him, but Canelo might turn his lights out.

Hits harder than many super middleweight's, let alone super welterweights.

He doesn't hit that hard. Angulo fight made that very obvious. He beat a guy that hadn't fought in 18 months, this was a complete mismatch. Still not going to hate too hard on him for taking this fight, since he got in the ring with Lara and Trout, both fighters he was supposedly ducking, even though I think he lost both Laughing . Hopefully he fights Cotto in the fall, and then has a super fight with GGG.

He was 39? And that fight was in 2010. Look at his most recent ko's and they were all bums, or fighters who weren't as good as they once were. Josesito Lopez( Laughing ), Angulo and Kirkland. He never actually put Angulo away, who was a sitting duck the whole fight, the ref stepped in. I'm not saying he can't knock anybody out, he has good speed and throws good combinations, but his power isn't special.

And as you know, chin doesnt age. He didnt get KO'ed after Canelo either.

I dunno what your talking about mate...he fought some meh fighters and won, whats the problem? He is fighting bigger guys now (Trout, Lara) so obviously he isnt knocking them out as often as smaller guys. But power is his biggest weapon in my opinion.

You mean he's fighting guys his size now Laughing ? And I think his speed, combinations, and ability to pick his punches are all bigger and better attributes than his power. Although he is a well rounded fighter, I don't see his power ever being the most important thing in a fight. He's a strong guy, I just don't see anything, but average.

Please stop your hate, its blinding facts my friend lol

Trout and Lara been fighting light middle their entire career and Lara even fought at fully fledged middle.

Canelo is the same size today, but obviously some years ago as a 20 year old he was still growing and obviously right to fight a super welter.

Anyway, there is no debating that Canelo is an all around fighter. He can do alot of everything.

Average power is a weird statement to me. His left hook might be one of the best in boxing.

If his power is average, who are all the punchers below 175 other than GGG above him?

What facts? Canelo has been fighting at 154 forever now. He barely even make that weight now. Is it not a fact Josesito Lopez was a journeyman scrub that he brought up to 154, and he's never fought at that weight again? Not even sure what the second line is supposed to mean.

Thurman, Matthysse, maybe even Maidana and Providnkov are p4p harder punchers.

Walters, El Chocolatito in the lower in divisions.
