LeBron has a new team, new coach and has them as arguably the best team in the league right now.. Plus he's been playing great since he came back from injury

Portland's success depends on Batum, if he can be the swiss army knife we know he's capable of then they can do things. If not then then they'll be easily dealt with in the 2nd round again.

I say 2nd round because as of right now they are playing Dallas and they'll beat them tbh.

All i see is excuses, Westbrook being injured is about as relevant as that and the season isn't two months long. Also i see a lot of box score whoring going on here, actually watch the game against the Bulls he isn't out of control and does what you would expect your PG to do. Because he took that amount of shots doesn't mean he was running up the court everytime and shooting contested jumpers in fact that hardly happened.

Anyway Cavs-Hawks was pretty good, Atlanta basically lead the entire game until late 3rd then pulled away in the 4th. Kevin Love took 11 shots, 10 of them were threes, sad what he's become.


And the C's had a nice win over NO on the road; which helps out OKC. IT balled out again. His three straight 3's in the 4th won the game.

That ATL - Cavs game was really intresting, its hard not to take ATL serious when they play like that.

Nobody on the Cavs roster can stop Teague or the German kid getting into the lane, Horford is too quick for Mozgov and takes him out the paint with his jumper..meanwhile Milsap will outperform Love every game if all Love is allowed to do is shoot 3's.

Yep, Atlanta has been legit for months.

I want to talk about defensive player of the year.


I feel this strong sense that there is alot of campaigning for DeAndre Jorden. I have to say how much I would disagree with him winning the award, he is so overrated defensively.

He is elite at one thing on that end, defensive rebounding. He boxs out well, he is active and I mean you can see by the numbers he does a good job on that end.

But everything else he does is overrated. He blocks 2 shots a game, but teams still score in the paint and I often see him failing to contest at the rim. He is okay at the pick and roll, he moves well and that helps him. But his biggest weakness is still by far post defence....Cousins totally cooks him every time, Duncan schools him and overall I just dont think he is anything special in this area.

I think Doc Rivers is doing everything to hype him but the reality isnt that good. I still think Gasol is better, I think Anthony Davis is better and I 100% believe Duncan is better.

Wing defensive player of the year? I think only Leonard is a viable name but he probably missed too many games/wont get the coaching/staff hype from the Spurs.

Gobert has been great I hear. Could be a contender the next many years.

Deandre's contested isn't as good as his rpg suggests from what I gathered.

Marc Gasol and it's not even close.

Draymond Green has been the standout imo. I'm tired of these centers hogging the award.

Why? If a center is the best defensive player he deserves it and vice versa.

Just so happens that is the case here, Draymond Green is definitely top 3 though and Kahwi would probably have a shout of joining him if he had played more games.
