It's nice to pop in once in a while and see whats going on here.

Still can't bring myself to watch a game - haven't seen the team play since February. I do feel a tad sentimental about the last game of the season, but really not sure if I cba with those 2 hours of wash, rinse, repeat.

Oh, and happy 21st St. Totteringham's Day - NOT.

Home kit looks decent. The line going down the middle is unnecessary though. Puma always complicate their designs.

The away kit doesn't leave me with the best first impression but, as always, they'll probably look a lot better on the players. Don't know why we never wear the new kits towards the end of the season like some clubs do.

The real concern is 0:23. Theo's finishing has declined significantly since then. He was a meter from the target whereas today he's at least 2-3.

But injuries will do that to Jack. Not surprised.

Why? Cech only has been there for 1 season, also it's better to have a field player be captain.

Koscielny deserves it IMO. Though Cazorla would deserve it too.

if Koscielny becomes Captain then it would mean the end of Mert at Arsenal?

I believe Cech would the better choice.

Also don't see Kos as captain material.
He strikes me as the player who would let his new captaincy role derail his own game, which in itself still isn't pretty stable yet.

Is this being based on the fact that Mertesacker isn't a starter anymore, so Kos has ended up wearing the armband anyway? Or is this genuine insider knowledge?

To be honest, I don't see much difference between Cech, Koscielny, Mertesacker or Cazorla being captain. They're the four most experienced players in the squad now (alongside Giroud) and should be leading the squad already.

You'd expect Mertesacker to take over as he was vice-captain anyway, but he might pass it up if he feels he's going to have a reduced role in the first team from now on. He's pretty gracious about this sort of thing. So naturally the next in line would be Koscielny.
