Tom Cruise is legit insane. God, I love that man. Doubt there's a more commited and dedicated actor out there.

I personally do it by going with the directors and other collaborators. Watch the trailer on youtube, may be not fully and then simply trust your instincts. 90% of the time I have felt vindicated.

Case in point.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0337876/?ref_=nv_sr_3
Jonathan Glazer's BIRTH

This film got trashed both on IMDb and RT. 6.0 and 38% respectively.
And yet when you watch it. it will come about as astonishing for most of them.

Another magnificent film that is cirminally underrated is Kate Winslet starrer Holy Smoke which has 5.8 on IMDb.

Fully agree with everything, for once Proud

@EG The Departed "an older" film. It's still popular among everyone in mainstream. A better example would be 70s films like Godfather. Also no one disagrees that any of those movies are good. But is it one of the best ever?

Only use IMDB for the trivia, to look up which movies specific people have made etc. For me personally ratings are the least interesting about that site.

k then
I watched a film The Little Death.
An Australian one. Smile

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2785032/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Impressive film. Little death btw means Orgasm!! ... eco smile
It was an anthology of sorts and all the segments were quite funny.

It is the directorial debut of Josh Lawson. And on twitter I simply wrote impressive work and stuff when the director himself  actually favorited the tweet . Proud Shocked Classy man! .
The actress from the most brilliant segment Erin James also favorited it. Such down to earth artists from Australia! Proud El Gunner man, I am impressed. Smile

On the Blade Runner sequel:
http://www.christianpost.com/news/blade-runner-2-news-harrison-ford-returning-ridley-scott-not-directing-136291/
Ford reportedly received a copy of the script during the latter part of 2014, and had publicly said that it was "the best things he's ever read," Variety reported Scott said that the sequel's screenplay was "written and ready to go." He also confirmed that Ford will play a big role in the sequel.

Some plot details have been confirmed by Scott himself. The movie will be set several decades later and will feature an older Deckard. Screen Rant also reported that there will be a female protagonist in the film.

"We talked at length about what it could be, and came up with a pretty strong three-act storyline, and it all makes sense it terms of how it relates to the first one," Scott said. "Harrison is very much part of this one, but really it's about finding him; he comes in the third act."
So who do you guys think might get the nod for this role? Obviously we don't know anything about the character yet, but the place that the Blade Runner story is set in and just the overall feel that the film gives off Rooney Mara springs to my mind.

Just finished watching the film by the way. It's kind of more of a horror than a sci-fi Laughing
Dat villain Roy Batty though, giving off some Anthony Hopkins Hannibal Lecter chills Proud

More of horror than sci-fi? wat. It's a 100% sci-fi. That doesn't mean it can't be horror also. Those genres doesn't exclude eachother at all. Ridley Scott Sci-fis usually are horror oriented.

Rutger Hauer was pretty terrifying, but I loved his character. Such a haunting performance. I almost want to see him in this sequel as much as Ford.

Sacha Baron Cohen's Freddie Mercury film has been revived. He's going to write, direct and star in it Proud

He's born to play this role, great actor when he gets a chance.

Wait, what? He's doing a Freddie Mercury film? Is this going to be comedic or serious, like a biopic?

Yeah he's going to play Freddie Mercury in a biopic about him. It's not a comedy at all I think.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-news/11501483/Sacha-Baron-Cohen-rejoins-troubled-Freddie-Mercury-biopic.html

Edit: turns out the media misquoted someone again, and he's not rejoining the project... Ffs I was so excited.

Some friends dragged me out to see Get Hard. Some genuinely funny moments from Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell, but yeah....I saw this movie for free and that's the only way I would ever see it again.
