That was like being smashed in the face with a sledgehammer by a feminist. I mean, it was about as subtle as that anyway. Can't wait for Stefan Molyneux to do a review.

That's the most ignorant thing I've read all day. You guys need to fix your problems with women. Actually developing female story and characters is a bad thing now
I enjoyed for once not having to watch the damsel in distress trope, like it is in every freaking movie now adays.
Like 90% of all film doesn't even feature a scene with women talking to each other about anything other than men. I'm the first to hate on feminists when they go too far with hate of men. But with guys like you and Jibers around, not really hard to blame them when listening to your views on women.
Also if feminism is like this, we need more of it https://imgur.com/a/o4KTY SPOILER

Agree about 3D. Hate it so much. Have seen only 3 things in 3D and got a headache everytime.

it had nothing to do with their genders.i just thought it was a stupid addition to the final part of the movie.
could have kept it "simple" with Max, Furiosa, the mutant and the other chicks.

Not as much directed at you. I can accept that you didn't like it. Don't understand it though. Loved it all. Was a nice character moment for Furiosa.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
There's a thing called different opinions which I'm fine with. There's another thing in intentionally having an opinion opposite to what others have to elicit as it is being called here, "mad" reactions. The latter can be very easily spotted.
The old ladies, how were they a problem? We they unrealistically portrayed?Did they do back flips and karate? I don't see how they were a buzzkill in any way. IMO I think the reason they were added was to,

you are basically saying that I am a troll for not thinking Mad Max is a GOAT movie while almost everyone else does lol I admit I trolled with my other posts based on everyone's reaction, but what i wrote about the movie in this thread was exactly what i thought after i left the cinema.
for starters, i didn't even say that it was a bad movie, i said i liked it but had a few things that made it disappointing as hell. mainly based on the ridiculous hype it was getting. i mean, people were calling it a masterpiece

Again with this shit. You want us to respect your opinion when you us for thinking it's a masterpiece. I have watched over 2000 films, studied them for years in school and I can say without a doubt is the most intense action-masterpiece I've seen so far, probably with T2.
Different opinions is apparently only a factor when your own is criticized

Watched Ex Machina.
And I have a question regarding the film's plot.
Apart from that, The Movie is pretty awesome.
The part where Oscar Isaac says "Fcking Unreal"
A Must watch.
8.5 /10
(The Rating would go up if I find an answer to the above question )
Reminded me of "Her".
And I have a question regarding the film's plot.
- Spoiler !!!:
- Yea the deal is pretty simple, but the answers so far I have met (on Internet) arent convincing.
What I want to know is why Domnhall Gleeson's character was selected specifically for the experiment. Now I know the angle of his personal life ( no girlfriend, orphan, pornography record et al) but then if that was the (main) criteria they could have selected a non- techie/expert with the above qualifications. Just a random guy would have fitted the bill.
More so that in the end its only because of his knowledge about the 'nerd stuff' (hacking the security protocol and opening the door) she escaped and Isaac's character got killed. If it was a random somebody who didnt know about computer stuff and all it wouldnt have happened. So what exactly was the purpose of selecting him.
Is it a flaw ?

- He worked for Oscar Issac's company. He was choosing from the people who worked for him to make the sample size smaller I guess. Also he needed a programmer who understood the Turing test.

- SPOILER ALERT !!:
- So basically its like they wanted someone who knew the (basics of the) stuff, but were unaware that he was kinda well versed in the subject right ?
Hmm that kinda make sense. Still they could have gone for a newbie programmer from their company, and assuming that their organization is like huuuuge, lots and lots of people would be working for for them. So the sample size to select from would have been pretty large.
But then the other reasons( the ones mentioned in the film, like his personal life) also should be taken. So the sample size does reduce.
So I think the main issue was their lack of knowledge about his proficiency.
I guess theres a small leeway i think we can allow the makers eventually, considering the movie on all other fronts is frigging epic.
Thanks man Appreciate it.
Rating the film even higher now.

Yep.
Multiple viewings will reveal more and more. Its pretty clever, the writing. There are some other clues as well. That Oscar Isaac dialogue for instance, the one I mentioned in the 1st post.
Acting is top notch too. Alicia Vikander is splendid in the role so as the other actress. And 2 Actors are well, GOATs, needless to mention that specifically.

Whilst I prefer to see original ideas pursued rather than remakes, I'd definitely go and see that. It was a fun if ridiculous film with room for improvement.

The one with Connery is one of the worst films I've ever seen.

Well it's widely regarded as a horrible film, so not applicable in this case
Hipster choices would be that I think Batman Forever is worse than Batman & Robin
