Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Just for clarity's sake, at no point in the movie does he mention his ring is his totem tight?
It's just the internet/film analysts that spotted later that he doesn't wear his wedding ring in waking life, but does in the dreams, and that's where the theory actually came from.

IGN wrote:SONY REPORTEDLY EYEING NIKOLAJ ARCEL AS NEW WRITER-DIRECTOR OF THE DARK TOWER
Danish filmmaker Nikolaj Arcel -- the co-screenwriter of the original Swedish adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo -- is reportedly being eyed by Sony to direct and oversee a rewrite of the recently-revived movie version of The Dark Tower.
Deadline reports that talks between Sony Pictures and Arcel (who also directed the Oscar-nominated A Royal Affair) are expected to begin shortly.
"Arcel, when he was getting going in Denmark, taught himself to speak and read English in order to consume Stephen King’s books in the writer’s native tongue," according to Deadline. "Arcel is a huge fan of The Dark Tower and knows the series well. That impressed the studio, and he showed with Dragon Tattoo that he could go dark, which is important in this series.
Based on the Stephen King novel series, The Dark Tower movie and TV adaptations were resurrected by Sony and MRC earlier this year. The two companies will co-finance the film, as well as the TV series.
"I’m excited that The Dark Tower is finally going to appear on the screen," King said back in April. "Those who have traveled with Roland and his friends in their search for the Dark Tower are going to have their long-held hopes fully realized. This is a brilliant and creative approach to my books."

Thoughts McLewis? I personally think its a good choice, based on his adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
I can't wait for castings to be announced

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Definitely going to see that. I like Chris Pratt and Chastain and was a huge fan of the other Jurassic films when I was younger, so can't see how it can go wrong.
Saw San Andreas in the cinema now that was a bad decision.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Okay I watched a film called Starred up.
Came out of nowhere and boom! Fcking epic.
Easily the best Prison film after Shawshank that I have watched. Even better than masterpieces like Green mile, and Prophet I honestly think, even Bronson for that matter.
Check it out guys. Stuff's legit.

Ben Mendelsohn in that film ffs. Should've gotten some legit academy award hype, if he filled the requirement. Perhaps it was too unknown though.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
yea only seen him once before this in a substantial role in Killing them Softly. Was impressive in that as well. But here well... bossed !!
All the actors in fact. It wasnt even acting it seemed. At one point I thought they were like shooting the incidents inside a real prison with real inmates. Most of the actors were unknown to me.
Only after watching the film and going through the cast I realized the main actor is the same guy who played Bobby Charlton in United.
Anyway magnificent. Watch it asap M99 !

Very encouraging. Love his dedication. That's the type of director this project needs.
He's got my support
