My guess is Ramsey, or Wilshire. Barcelona is practically only linked to Arsenal players. Then you got Schneiderlin, and Coutinho from the other clubs not in the UCL. Then of course, the brave Charlie Adam

Honestly would be happy with either. With those 2 as your choises you have no losers. Each offer a different element that would work well in our set up

I also read another report that Denis wouldn't be allowed to play until January if he returned this summer because we are technically registering to play with us this summer which means the ban applies to him

Denis played mostly on the left wing for Sevilla as a "false winger" or whatever you want to call it. I haven't seen anything special in him as a midfielder who could be useful for Barca. He looks an okay talent with some skills but nothing extraordinary. Basically I don't think he is better than Rafinha. Would be strange to have those 2 in the squad in the same age bracket competing for the same spots. I somehow doubt the rumours about him coming back.

Well rafinha/Denis would likely then be duking it out for the mins Xavi was getting, which is good playing time. The other would get the time Rafinha was getting this season.

I imagine Samper/Halilovic are getting loaned and Sergi will continue to get junk time like he got this season (unless we sell Sergi and Samper gets the junk minutes

we should just risk it all with rafinha till January, if it doesn't work out buy a gundogan type of player in january.

overloading our midfielder depth with abunch of youngster seems problematic to me.

I think that's wrong.
our starters are iniesta with rakitic on the side.
neither are xavi like, and we didn't really need xavi this season with his control except maybe the one or two odd games.

In that one season 2012-13 I became a big fan of Ilkay Gundogan. Since then I have written a few times that I would like to see him at Barca. However after such a long injury layoff how much hope can we see in his future career. I hardly watched Dortmund this season but if anyone did is he showing any signs of recovering his levels? At this point in time are we only going for him because he should be much cheaper than the others available?
